  2. Moog MF Delay bought new couple of months ago £155 posted Moog MF Flange (bought new with delay) £140 posted Moog Expression pedal £25 SOLD Bright Onion Trails Looper with 9v battery option £55 posted I'll do a deal on all three, I got the Looper as the Moog delay doesn't have 'trails'. https://www.andertons.co.uk/p/MFDELAY/delay-pedals/moog-minifooger-analog-delay-pedal?LGWCODE=MFDELAY;56375;6335&gclid=CKmgl5L_s9QCFVQ_Gwodq7wFBA http://www.brightonion.co.uk/trails/ Looper is in bigger enclosure due to 9v battery option
  3. I've 3 used sets strings for 34" headless 5 string .. 45-135 - Status double ball end ss - SOLD Next two are/were normal length but cut down & clamped on headpiece - Elixir nanoweb ss - Daddario I think All three still have life in them esp the Elixir £10 posted for remaining two sets
  4. I use a Little Lehle II .. not sure if I need to isolate the two incoming signals but thought it can't be a bad thing if I do as I'm getting both inputs from the same source (always on) Darkglass B7K .. switch between clean with effect or dirt. B7K dirt > LLII > amp B7K parallel clean > effect > LLII > amp http://lehle.com/IT/Little-Lehle-II
  5. A few weeks ago I got the same black J&D JB75 & was pleasantly surprised, enough to keep & start modding it. It is also medium weight so not what I'd class a heavy ... so far so good
  6. Hi all, I'm looking at getting some single coil jazz pickups & ideally want the growliest but not wanting to spend boutique prices if possible. Bass is 4 string alder/maple. I used to have two jazz basses, one with Nordstrand Big Singles & one with Wizard 84's & loved both, however not in my budget Also, I plan on wiring these in parallel (no blend) to single vol pot, so 250 or 500k ? Cheers Si
  7. I met Chris a while back & got a chance to try one if his basses .. really nice fella & passionate about his builds, which are gorgeous ! If I had spare cash I'd get one !
  8. 2 x neutrik jacks / cordial cables 148cm 58" - £10 each posted 4 x effects couplers - £5 - posted SOLD 1 x planet waves effects coupler - £5 posted SOLD
  9. Thanks to Kev & Dood for their great feedback Haven't heard of anyone using the M900 with the Two10 as yet ..? Also noticed 'bearfist' selling both his DG M900 & BF BTII .. ? I would have thought that a match made in heaven ?! So any more thoughts etc most welcome as I'm still undecided (and saving lol) cheers Simon
  10. I tried the preamp route .. 3leaf enabler preamp (B3K for grit) into a powered Bagend 212 cab but was a bit disappointed, underwhelmed .. howerever I took out the power amp (minima one) then used a B7K into a GK RB400-IV .. well the cab came alive & just roared ! In a good way for me at least .. I still think it's an option as you can just take a small pedal board or just the preamp & plug into a pa or any amp / combo. The Barefaced one is probably the best choice, it wasn't available when I was on the hunt for a powered cab tho .. not too many out there, at least when I last looked ....

  13. Sorted - Bradford band ORCHID reformed & Lee is back !
  14. Thanks all & esp Kev coz I always fancied one of those sealed Bergs, I'm guessing it's loud enough with the M900 on 4 Ohm mode ? I'm not used to cabs producing much low end so a sealed cab might also be worth a look
  15. Hi all, Recently bought a Darkglass M900 and am looking at pairing it with either a BF Super Compact or Two10, anyone using these setups ? Or any other single cab solution ... I play heavy rock / metal on 4 string standard & drop D btw Thanks for any opinions etc as per usual BCers Si
