  1. I used to have a PJB Sixpak + 9B combination but power (spl) to weight ratio was not great tho. I play heavy rock / metal. I still read posts re PJB & am interested in what they’re making but unlikely to use again, however I would like to try a C8. I’ve kinda had more luck with more traditional cabs (currently running a Bagend 212 which really rocks but is heavy). So I’d say no unless you get enough of those piranha drivers & enough power & you’re good to go but I don’t think it will be light .. btw I briefly had a Schroeder 410L too, certainly lighter
  2. Warmoth Jazz > GK 400RB > Bagend D12-D
  3. Diamond Quantum Leap except for tremolo ...
  4. Just want to bump this tread as I’m considering both the Eich 115XS & Barefaced Two10 ... so any more input / opinions most welcome esp regarding the Eich cabs as I can’t seem to find much on them ..

  7. This is a difficult one as I just love this pedal, best delay I’ve used but I just don’t use pedals in my band. Beautiful bucket brigade analog delay that accepts instrument & line level (mix full cw kills dry signal for parallel effects loops) & also has cv control to ramp up the repeats in ‘feedback’ (into oscillation but watch that mix knob !) or speeds up ‘time’ but haven’t tried that mode, I use a non latching footswitch instead of an expression pedal & have now housed it in a Bright Onion Trails looper I had custom made to also accept a 9v battery (both pedals do also take normal psu) as I preferred to have no psu cables running to pedalboard. Does great self oscillation & dialling the time knob to fastest position (pseudo reverb more) & turning feedback to around 11:00, mix knob down a bit, stepping on ramp button you get a nice ‘droning’ sound. Also because the trails looper is always active you can ramp to ‘droning or oscillating’ without having delay active (delay pedal ‘on’ but trails pedal ‘off’ ... Ramp button/jack are from a Zander Circuitry Little Monster Boxes included and all pedals bought new & never gigged £200
  8. SOLD - Ebs Unichorus in great condition, takes 9v battery or psu, does analog Chorus / Flanger / Pulse Modulation & has internal trim pot for ‘mix’. I noticed a slight volume boost when engaged which actually works out well for subtle chordal playing higher up the neck for me, I believe ‘mix’ pot can alter this. £60 with original box

  10. Cracking, quality speakers these Bagend & cab so sturdy, my diy one not too bad either but just too heavy for my ageing back
  11. Hi Michael, Would love to try this when it’s a bit closer (Bradford/Leeds area) Simon
  12. Yeah done it to both my Jazz basses .. J&D is also one of them. I actually got luthier to do it coz I’m not the best at soldering .. I believe (if you google standard jazz bass wiring) you can just ignore the second vol & tone pot wiring & solder both pickups to the first vol pot then to output jack
  13. Gigging again soon so need something lighter hence reluctantly back up for sale
