  2. It didn't quite work out for me, mainly the effects loop, I just couldn't get a match in volume when engaged/disengaged, maybe because it was parallel instead of series, I wasn't about to open up & flick a switch of whatever you need to do to change as this was a brand new combo, so sent it back. Also it said 600w on rear of amp, I emailed Markbass but they took a while to reply & id already returned the combo, however they said it's a 'typo' & it does have the updated power amp 300w + 500w. Nice combo overall but didn't blow me away .. back to original plan .. Darkglass M900
  3. Cheers all .. yeah Si I did read that on Darkglass site but if you turn B7K off for 'clean' it most likely won't have enough juice .. I think I'm gonna skip this idea & just get their M900 head, thanks for everyone's input. Si
  4. Thanks Danny. .. I feared as much. It was just an idea. I don't have either at the moment so I can't try out but I remember using a B7K before going straight into my amp (not return back) & noticed the level knob was around noon, any higher then clean (pedal off) volume was lower so I thought what if I blend 100% wet, crank level that might drive a power amp ? For clean I'd have to run parallel out through cranked compressor I have (+20dB) both into A/B looper pedal then switch between the two, like I said it was just an idea .. I'll probably just buy the M900 head & save me the hassle lol. . & maybe the Alpha/Omega
  5. Hi all, As the title says, do any of you use your B7K direct into a pa power amp ? Just wondering if it has enough juice to do this and if so what power amp do you use ? I'm thinking of a possible wet/dry setup having blend maxed & a boost pedal on parallel out, both outputs into a stereo power amp driving two cabs ... sound feasible ? cheers Si
  6. Finally bit the bullet & have a Markbass AC121Lite incoming ...
  7. Same combo I've just ordered & should get it tomorrow

  12. SOLD Genz Benz amp taken from a combo, 500w @ 4 ohm, 300w @ 8 ohm, light weight & about 1U height. I added a speakon to jack adapter so you can plug in to cab without taking on the case. Also made a right angled kettle lead so connecting to an extension lead was easier. There's room on top of the amp for about 6 pedals, so you can close the lid with them in place.
  13. Hi all, I'm putting a mini analog pedal board together & am looking for a B3K type pedal to add a little grit but that takes 9v batteries. I don't want any psu to plug in. I'm also looking at an analog delay & the Moog MF Delay is currently top of my wish list. Does anyone have any experience with this delay ? Could the 'drive' knob add the grit I'm after ? And lastly tho not as important as the first two pedal recommendations, a nice modulation pedal. All pedals 9v battery type & ideally not too big. Any/all opinions most welcome
  14. Hope some European interest but would rather not post ..
  15. Hi all ,,, up for sale or trade is my SA Manta Bass Filter in excellent condition with box & psu, Ideally I'd like to trade for a SA Dimension Reverb
  16. If he's considering 5 string I'm selling my headless Yamaha that's 34" scale but fits into a guitar case http://basschat.co.uk/topic/296904-fs-yamaha-headless-5-string/page__fromsearch__1 One of the Markbass combos might be worth looking at but guess they'll be a little over budget. I recently got a Genz Benz Contour 500 amp (head only) & been impressed so if you can find a combo 115 or 210 version I'd seriously try one
