1.
Id love it but I tried my guitarsist one and my warwick SSI clipped the feck out of it.
Weird, never had a problem with it with any of my active basses, even my ridiculously loud 18v Ovation. Surprised you had that problem with am analogue pedal like this.
2. Bump. Any pedal trades?
3. Pretty sure it only does down.
4. Dont think there are many decent octave up pedals available are there? The Micro Pog is one of the best I've tried for tracking and tone. What cheaper alternatives would you suggest?
5. Bit short notice I know but I'm playing tonight at The Miller near London Bridge with Rose Kemp. For fans of drone/stoner/metal with big female folky vocals or those who wanna perv over bass gear. If you do come along, come and intoduce yourself. I'll be the one with stupid curly blond hair and too many pedals. www.myspace.com/rosekemp
6. Ok, sorted for distortion now so looking for octave up pedals duch as a Micro Pog, a Boss Re20 or cash.
7. Ah ok ta, thanks for the heads up.
8. Really love this pedal but just can't justify keeping it as my need for a good quality bass distortion is far greater. It's the guitar version but sounds great with bass, especially with a blender. In good condition with wooden box and EU PSU. Trade for top quality bass distortion such as T Rex Bass Juice or Owen Bass Gremlin, octave up pedals or something unusual. Or 95 quid, shipped. Pics soon.
9. Looks like it's 6u to me. Is it the actual one in the pic?
10. Damn, would gave taken both. Let me know if either sale falls through.
11. Loads of threads on this already if you search. Depends if you just wanna loop bass/guitars or mics/vocals as well. If it's just guitars/basses then I recommend the EHX Stereo Memory Man with Hazarai but also check out the Line 6 DL4 and Akai Headrush. These all have cool delays as well as loopers. If you want a mic input and more features such as savable patches and undo then check the Digitech Jamman which also has expandable memory and a USB port so you can upload loops to your computer easily or vice versa.
12. I think it looks great. Cool they went for KT88's instead of the more common 6550's. Very interested to see how much these will be.
13. Argh!

The one I heard sounded terrible. Really really bad.
15.
Do you mean the one in this link? http://www.soundslive.co.uk/product~name~F...rst~ID~9701.asp This one is called a 70's re-issue but you refer to a 75 re-issue and I can't find any 75 re-issue.
My bad, yea thats the one. The one I played was black like neilb's though.
16.
As for the rest of the axe it ain't my area so who knows *shrugs* I tell you what though, 3 years of gigging hardly constitutes "very little use" in my book.
I think considering how old it is thats not much use at all.
17. Yea I played a MIM 75 RI the other day and it was lush. Much better than the US one they had in IMO. never bought a new bass before as I always prefer the feel of vintage instruments but this one felt great. Might go and have another play on it tomorrow, it's only 2 mins down the road. Very dangerous it being so close.
18. Awesome board. Really want an RE-20 at the moment.
19. Goddamn thats cool. Thats the first white bass I've ever liked. Would be a lovely partner to my Sabre.
20. Yup, if they'd been even slightly closer I'd have gone for those. No idea what I'd use them for but they look cool.
21. I have a Russian muff which works fine with my active basses too. Pretty sure it doesn't suck low end either.
22. I spy an Audix D6 in that last pic. Just bought one myself, great mic.
23. What amp are you going to use and how are you going to wire it all? Looks like an impedance nightmare.
24. Bought one of these off someone on here the other week. I use a separate amp for the octave signal as well as a whole other effects chain after it. In my opinion it sounded horrible by itself. I wanted it to sound like a guitar and it just sounded terrible. However, once i'd sent it to another amp with some other distortion pedals and careful eq it sounded amazing. Spent £90 on mine boxed with instructions and PSU. Don't think they're worth more than £100 or so really at the moment. May well go up in a year or so though as many have said. They seem to be going for a fair whack over on Talkbass and Ebay US already though.
