1. If my Sabre goes any time soon I'll be very very interested in this...
2. Bump. After 70's Fender P's with maple boards in black or natural too.
3. Don't know how they compare to the Roqsolid ones but I'm happy with my two Aguilar covers for my GS412s. They were expensive but worth it I reckon. They are very thick and heavy duty.
4. It's sat next to me now and really is a very nice bass. It has an active 18v preamp and plays great.
5. Yea, definitely know what you mean about the big city with small town feeling. Hope to come back sometime soon.
6.
Want. Think they came with badass bridges. Lorne is the dude to ask.
About BC Riches that is... I have a similar Kramer XL8, I bought it for about £350 with original case and I think another went on Ebay US recently for about £320. I'm amazed that's all they are going for as they are fantastic. One of the Denmark St shops have a black one they are asking about a grand for. They're bound to appreciate significantly in value over the next few years I should have thought. If I had any money I'd be interested myself, if it was black.
7. Hi Hidde, Welcome to the forum. I was over there in Utrecht a few weeks ago playing at Summer Darkness Festival. Lovely place, really wished we could have stayed longer. How do you find living there?
8. Hehe, thought it said 'cheap bland pedal'.
9. Mr. Foxen is very interested in the Ashdown... He'll be online later.
10. PM'd.
11. Arses. Can't afford it anyway but really do need one.
12. PM's replied to. Sticking with what I said in my last post I reckon. After cash or trades with cash (SVT, 400+, GT200, Burman Pro4000/Ricks,RD's, EB2's, Guilds etc etc).. I appreciate that I am asking for things people are unlikely to be shifting really but can't blame a guy for trying eh?
13. If the volume pedal becomes available I might well be interested.
14. Still really tempted by your trade offer... Can't decide.
15. Oooh, would be really interested to hear clips. Are they mic'ed from your NV610?
16. Cheers Steve, thought about it some more and think I need to hold out either for cash, a nice bass + cash or a high power (200w+) valve amp.
17.
Slave to the grind gt200 into berg nv610
Awesome rig. How you finding the GT200? Really thinking of getting one after a visit to the factory the other week. How are you finding it? Enough EQ? Digging the Argonaut tunes on Myspazz
18. Definitely very interested if we can find a way of getting it to Bristol
19.
How about my two vintage Marshall JCM800 heads. Superlead and Superbass Mk2's ? You can see them 'For sale or trade' on (I think page 4 ).
Oooh. Damn tempting. Damn tempting indeed. I think in reality I have enough 100w> valve amps at the moment. Doesn't stop me thinking about it though.. To be honest though any trade is gonna need to have some cash on top as I'm in desperate need of some money at the moment. And you're only over in WSM too!
20. Also, if anyone ever sells one of their Pro 4000's I really really want it!
21. Quick pic of my pair: Top to bottom.. GPA guitar preamp SL100 100w power amp MPA PA preamp SL100 100w power amp Will get some gut shots soon. The GPA is a bit crackly at the moment but the MPA sounds great for guitar or bass. Gonna get them both serviced and revalved with KT77's when I can afford it. Big thanks to The Bass Doc for them both, really pleased with them!
22.
Bloody lovely looking bass! Fender 400PS + cash?
Hmm, very interesting offer indeed. Need to think how I could use the three outputs of the 400PS though. How do the inputs/outputs work? It doesn't have different speaker outs for the different inputs (bass/guitar) does it? Do you have to have three speakers attached at all times? How much cash you reckon?
23.
Mine isn't. It's made of half-inch ply. I priced up all the bits I'd need to make a board and it came to just under 50 quid. For that, I decided I'd rather not have the hassle and bought a second-hand one for around the same price.
Fair enough, I'm not very good at identifying wood types. My friend's one began to splinter and fall apart after only a few gigs so guessed it was chip board. His hinges came loose too.
