1. Interested in trades for a VT Bass or Blackstar DistX with a bit of cash my way too.
2. Just bought another Boss DD-7. Excellent delay in new condition but I cant afford to keep it. I really have too many delays already anyway. [s]£100 posted[/s] or swap for a VT Bass or Blackstar DistX. [s]Price drop: £95 posted[/s] TRADED Akai E2 Headrush. You know the deal, excellent and flexible delay and looper. Few scratches and one non original knob. No box or manual. [s]£90 posted[/s] Price drop: £85 posted Pictures to come if anyone needs them. Dunlop Crybaby With 100K ohm Hot Potz potentiometer that allows for that quick, abrupt wah sound. Classic wah, great sound. More of a guitar wah really but will sound good blended with clean bass I reckon. £40 posted
3. Definitely for sale now as I need to fund a big new custom router/looper for my pedal board. Will entertain trade offers but need some cash my way really.
4. Looks good to me. Should work nicely I reckon.
5.
No problem Joe, good luck with the sale and have a bump on me.
Thanks mate. Also very interested in a Gigrig Pro-14 or Midi-8. May have a trade pending though.
6. So is it no good for non standard tunings then? I tune A-E-A-D, guess this isn't going to help..
7. Price added to original post.
8. Listing amended, it's 500w not 400w as previously stated.
9. Thinking of letting my Marshall JCM800 Bass Series 2x15 cab go as it just doesn't get used. It's an 8ohm 500w cab in good condition with castors. £150 or trade for a decent 4x12 (don't really need more but never mind), FX, mics, synth modules, outboard etc. Pics to come. Based in Bristol. TRADED

Hey!

Hi Gaz, nice to see you here. Great gig the other week by the way.
11. Pics don't seem to work. Whereabouts are you?
12. Ooooh. Lovely lovely bass. Wish I had some cash as this is my ideal P set up really.
13. Just spotted this: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Trace-Elliot-bass-gu...3#ht_868wt_1167 Nice combo, not mega cheap but about right probably. I used to have the head version and loved it.
14. Interesting. Would love to hear how it sounded
15.
PM'd
Replied. Interested in Ricks too.
16.
Aguilar DB751?
That or a DB750.
17. Not interested in guitar swaps I suppose? Never left the house Schecter PT:
18. Hopefully Gareth won't mind me using his pics: One of the two gigs it was used for since I've had it was when I lent it to Al from Om/Sleep in December. He is usually very very fussy about his Ampegs and usually refuses all but certain models including SVT-II's and he said it sounded great.
19. Thinking of letting my SVT-II go. I've had it about two months (got it in a trade deal on here with Gareth) and I've realised that my sound needs massive solid state headroom so am going back to my 1200w Sunn. A real shame to see it go as it's an amazing sounding amp. Since I've had it I've spent £150 on all new preamp valves from Watford Valves. They are 5x Harma 12ax7's and 3x Philips NOS 12au7's. These were recommended as the best preamp valves available for these amps according to the guy from Watford Valves who is a bassist with several SVT's and really seemed to know his stuff. I've only used the amp on a handful of practices and two gigs since I got them so they're basically new. The power valves are EHX 6550's and have plenty of life left in them. It has a full John Henry's flightcase which comprises of a rack sleeve which fits into a big wheeled case. I believe it's an early 90's model (US made of course) and is one of the very first 'Pro' models. I think I am right in saying that this model in particular is internally the same to the later 'non pro' ones, going by pics I've seen of both models. It is the one with blue lettering. Pics to come if there's interest but it's in my practice space at the moment. Not sure if I want to sell at the moment so am just looking for trades for the time being. If I decide to sell I will put a price up. Tradewise I'm interested in 70's basses such as Gibsons (particularly RD's, EB's and the like. Not really interested in Rippers or Grabbers), Guilds and battered Precisions with maple boards. May also be interested in an Aguilar DB750, Matamps, Mesa 400's, Marshall VBA's or Hiwatt 400's (in my dreams). Edit: Up for sale at £1000. I know this is more than the going rate but I think it's reasonable given the new valves and flightcase. SOLD
20.
Bump with price drop. They're unused!
I'll take them, PM coming.
21. Wow, that looks really interesting, thanks.
22. Haha, I'm pretty sure it is. I was 'just' using the two Aggies with the SVT and Burman but I can get sooo much more clean sub out of the Sunn it's just amazing all three together. I'm not cranking it too much but it's just so imposing sounding and huge. Heavy bass heaven.
23. Personally I'd send a clean DI to FOH then send your fx to your amp and mic it. Whatever works for you though.
24. Ridiculous rig update: Sunn 1200s with Aphex 204 and Aguilar GS412 for low end Ampeg SVT-II and Aguilar GS412 for mids Burman MPA and Powerpak SL100 (until the Ampeg V4 gets fixed) with Laney and Marshall 4x12's for highs and fx
25.
Very exact give or take a mm or so, that's the external dimensions of the old Trace head I had and it fitted this like a glove. These dimensions are from the foam edges if that makes sense - if you need a few more mm or cm it can probably be squashed/cut to accomodate
Hmm very tempted, bit of a risk though I guess. My Burman MPA preamp is 49cm wide 17cm tall and 30cm deep.
