M9 Gas

I use the PI muff and the Jumbo fuzz and both are fine in the mix - although I'm only competing against one guitarist so that may be a factor?
Saying all this, I still use a Hyperpak for my distortion, so make of that what you will.
I think the drives are OK and definately useable - just not great, I still use my Zia Drive.

    M9 Gas
One thing to consider is that there is a little bottom end drop with the M9 fuzzes
You sure? I'm not hearing that.
  3. Out of those 2 'dirt' pedals I would go with the bass muff - it's fantastic for the price. The dunlop wah is a popular wah amongst bassists. No reason why the 2 wouldn't work well together. Have you checked out the market place? Plenty of bargains to be had in there!

    M9 Gas

I really like the Fuzzes on the M9. It's the Octaver and Wah's which disappoint for me. Still a seriously good unit though and well worth the money.

  9. The last of my pedal sale. Boss BF-2 - the one that Chancellor uses on 46&2 etc. Again this is mint, boxed and manualled. £40 posted. Cheers
  10. Can't believe this hasn't gone - have a bump
  11.
Anyway, I was just looking at a sansamp bass driver DI. Not sure how good it would sound into a markbass head?
I've used one of these with my MarkBass rig and it sounds ace. I've got a MB 1x15 and the traveller 2x10, I've used just the 2x10 at smaller jams and the only issue I have is that there is an obvious lack of depth and punch compared with using the 1x15. It's fine to use as a monitor on stage or at rehearsals but if this is your main output I'm not sure it would be beefy enough.

    Loop Pedal

I'm selling an Akai Headrush - but I don't think it does 60 second loops. I think the max is around the 30 second mark. The Jamman is probably a better option for this (plus you can import drum loops and samples too!) I think one of those is going in the Marketplace.
  13. Gutted for ya - I know how much you liked it. Hope the loan works out so you can keep hold of it!
  14.
Is OC-2 back up for sale?
I'll have a better idea tomorrow, I'll let ya know
  15. A great big tube rig of some sort with a great big cart to put it on a herd of midgets to pull it. That would look awesome!
  16.
Gone from several pedals to an M9.. very happy
Me too, although I prefer the drive, wah and octaver pedals that I have to those on the M9 so I am keeping hold of a few pedals too.
  17. As it happens I got an expression pedal for the M9 today and went through the wah's - sound really crap I thought, but to be fair I didn't have that much time to tweak as I've got a gig tomorrow and wanted to make sure all the settings on the M9 were ok. I'll have a proper look at it over the weekend and send you a pm.

    Line6 M9

Sorry mate, really didn't mean to patronise - I know you'd mentioned it earlier in the post but I've used midi myself but still made that mistake. Only trying to help.

I think if none of them can read the M9 then it's not the line 6 program - you deffo swapped the midi leads around? I made that mistake
Tried every conceivable way of connecting, powering etc, still not recognising M9 over midi also did a factory reset, still nothing T
Hmm, I managed to install it on Edstraker's pc - mind you it still took loads of goes - have you got acess to to any other pc's at all?
  21. dunno about sheets but Ebay's good for rolls of durable velcro - maybe a couple of those would do the job?

    Line6 M9

Sshorepunk, just re-read your previous post - is Monkey not seeing the M9 at all or not seeing the registed M9? You don't have to register the item, just continue with the installation regardless. It was after this stage, whilst the update was going ahead, that I ran into difficulty.
After a fairly hectic schedule over the last few weeks, this weekend saw a chnace to have a good look at the M9, first thing to do was update the firmware! COMPUTER SAYS NO! What a nightmare!!! spoke to Tayste, his went ahead no problem, but I have a very different story Installed Monkey (latest version, 1.31) on laptop, asked me to regsister product, which I did. Tried again, still asked me to register product, got directed to product registration page where I could see my M9 already registered! Got stuck here, can't past this! Installed Monkey on G5, still same problem, midi interface working, but monkey not seeing M9 Went to guitarists house last night, his PC is being used with several line 6 products including M13 and X3 over midi Still got the same problem, cant get past registration even though it is registered Played with a Line 6 supported artist last night, he was also pissed off with updating his M9, but he got it to work, he suggested calling Line 6 direct, will see how I get on with this today cos right now, I cant see a way forward Tony
I feel your pain - I bought the usb midi cable saturday and it took over 100 attempts, a bunch of updated midi drivers and 3 different pc's before I got it to update - and even then I felt there was a lot of luck involved. Looking at the forum a lot of people found updating to the latest midi driver for the midi interface seem to help - have you tried that?
  24. It's the Headrush 2 - immaculate condition, never gigged, excellent easy to use looper.
