1. I couldn't charge former bandmates, don't seem right to me. And I couldn't step on other bassists shoes - same thing. I'd have to decline.

    Bass Fuzz
I am currently gassing for a Blackout Effectors Musket v2
Me too. Have you tried one? And can I have you super collider should you decide to invest?
  3. How much are you looking to pay?

    Bass Fuzz

Is your bass passive or active? Some fuzzes don't work well with active basses.
  5. Good luck with your sale...but if you do decide to split can I have first dibs on the pedaltrain 2 please. (first dibs! I haven't said that for years!)
  6. Lovely board Higgie - plenty of fun to be had with that!
  7. I was learning guitar for about 6 months and doing well - then "Cliff 'em All" came out, I got paid, bought a bass and knew it was for me as soon as I picked it up.
Hmm but you're looking at $225 for the standard unit and having to order it from the States. I need something a little more accesible and preferably wallet-friendly.
ok - a second hand Analogueman Chorus then?

The Analogueman Chorus is really nice.
  11.
he fixed up my (near broken) russian big muff and whacked a 9v power input on the back of it not long ago, top bloke
Yeah I think it was your thread on this that put me onto him - thanks man.
  12. I've been in touch with him recently - he's going to add a bypass toggle for the fx loop on my Meatwad. He had to do a fair bit lot of research for the job, seems a nice bloke and the price is well reasonable. Gonna send it to him tomorrow - can't wait till it's done and I can use my dirt pedal again!
  13.
I've done samples of my board in the past but been so embarassed by how it sounds i've never posted. Playing in a band, through my amp, my board sounds amazing, but DI'd solo bass...... eugh.
It can happen the other way around too. Sometimes I'll get a wicked tone/noise when I'm practicing on me jack but when I take it to a sesh with the band it just gets swallowed up and loses it's impact.
  14. I always leave Tube comp on for my 'clean tone' on my M9. It just sounds lovely. I've read that it's similar to the infamous Cream Pie pedal - that being the case I can see what all the fuss was about.
  15. I got Schallers on at the moment...and really hate them. Yes my bass won't fall off the strap but their a bit too fiddley when I want to take the strap off and I lose patience with them. Looking for replacements so I'll watch this thread with interest.
  16. Man, just when I thought I was done gassing over pedals!
  17. I like single cuts too. I don't own one but if I was loaded I would like to. Urb - that Sei is stunning!

  19.
And yes that was Toasted's old wah. I love it. Great range of tones that suit different styles, I'd put it in between a 105Q and a Morley Dual Bass Wah in sound capability, but is better than both has it has the auto on/off thing when you step on the pedal like those two, but it's not on a spring so can be left open in whatever position you want, and turned on/off with the stomp switch! Fantastic design IMO!
Been gassing for one for a while now, don't really need it - my EBS One suits me fine - but it looks and 'sounds' like it would be brill. If I was to fall into some money then maybe.....
  20. How dya find the Earthquaker wah? Was that Toasted's?
  21.
Hey dude, I'm after the 102 cab, and you want a tube amp. I got a Warwick pro tube 4 head that I am selling, wondered if you're up for a swap?? I wanted £450/ £500 for the head, but would happily make life easy for myself with a straight swap. It's a great amp, check it out, but the great thing is... it has a solid state channel too! Which is a great safety net to have in one package! Plus it gives a clearer tone for smaller spaces while still having the ooomph of tubes when you need it!!! You're in liverpool, I'm in Surrey, but would be happy to meet somewhere between if you are interested or I would travel the full distance for the swap plus some cash for time/petrol?? It's in good condition and has had 2 owners including myself (and I know the previous owner), who have looked after it well. Any questions, please ask, I'll try to answer as best I can. Mant Thanks, Guy
Thanks but I'd rather do a straight swap - cab for cab or just sell them. Cheers anyway.
  22.
If your intrested in tube heads, I'd be willing to swap my marshall vba400 for your head. pm me if your interested.
Thanks for the offer but I'd rather sell my cabs before switching the head.
