1. I'm looking to sell/trade my minty new Korg Arp Odyssey. Looking for £650 posted recorded delivery or towards a trade for a nice Jazz with cash either way depending on watcha got. I bought it about 4 months ago, played it for a month and not touched it since. It's an amazing analog synth but between playing bass and learning to play the piano I just haven't the time to spare for this little beauty, and I hate to see good instruments lying around unused. It comes with all the paperwork, leads and case, original box etc -it looks brand new. Here's a youtube link showing differnt sounds you can make with this synth (not me playing!) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oHRk_16VZrA I've added a stock photograph but can add photo's of my one upon request. It's the same version as the one in this pic - the orange and black one - Mark 3, I think.
2. I used to play every hour I possibly could, always have done, since I was a kid. But have been in a bit of a bass malaise over the passed couple of years. I tend to only play at band practice and my skills are noticeably not what they were. I bought a synth piano thing and have learned to play a bit. I play that now almost everyday. I get way more enjoyment from playing a tune badly on the piano than playing my bass. If the band goes south then I doubt I'll pursue bass playing other than for nostalgia - and I doubted I would ever say that!

8. Love the tone out of my Ashdown Little Bastard and would love to get an all tube amp powerful enough for rehearsals. I couldn't deal with any overhang though - anyone know any all valvers that would sit nice on top? Must add - changing the cab isn't an option.

17.
I have a Dunlop volume X, it's well made, and works great. It doesn't seem to affect my sound at all.
Do you use active or passive basses with it - and does it make a difference?
18. Thanks for that - looks like the 6168 is the 250k model for passive instruments. I have an active bass but might take a punt. Will think on.
19. Hi mate - is this the 250k or 500k model?
20. Thanks mate. It's definitely in my price range. I'll be using an active bass with it. I think low impedance works best with active instruments, but need to do some reading. Does the the treadle allow an even sweep?
21. Probably looking toward the lower end of the scale < £75. Mostly for swells. Would prefer something with no tone suck. I've seen some described as high/low impedance and assume this is for active/passive basses - is that right? Any recommendations? ta.
22. Love the MegaDave's! Personally I think Peace Sells and So Far So Good So What, kick Rust in Peace's Arse! Seriously - it's not even close! Incidentally, and nothing to do with the OP, but my favorite Mustaine quote is where he rates bass playing as a level up from playing the Kazoo! My friend thought he was being generous there!
23. Hi mate, what's the wattage/omage on this - also what are it's dimension. Wondering whether it will fit on my cab. Thanks
24. Billy Gould for me - great bassist. Also, I don't think Roger Waters gets enough credit as a bass player - for musicianship and songwriting yes, but as a bassist, not really.
