Nice tune mate and good sound overall, can't say I heard the bass a lot due to crappy pc speakers but I definitely like it. -

Risking to be pitchforked I have to say that I consider Birelli amazing in guitar but his bass playing is a pretty lame Jaco impersonation. He could have taken all those influences and made something else with them but he just settled to be a mere impersonator. That's pretty sad when you realise the huge talent that Birelli posseses. Sorry guys I saw that video long time ago and haven't changed my mind.
I think that the pots can be easily removed and replaced so the holes layout shouldn't be a problem.
The problem is that I have no much space in my bass cavity. Believe me I would love to have it as I love the tone but I have no space in my basses.
Still available! Sorry for the blurry pics... too much coffee in these days.
I'm sorry but it won't fit any of my basses. It is a shame as I really love the tone of those preamps. BUMP for a great preamp at a cracking price!

I think you forgot to mention the most famous user of these basses "Neil Stubenhauss" he is the reponsible of lots and lots of hits in the 80's and 90's. You can hear him in Michael Bolton (Well if you can stomach that!) multi platinum, multi whatever album "Soul Provider". I saw an interview with Neil some time ago and was impressed with his sound, he said that once he played that bass he felt like going into a spell and when he recorded with it never looked back!

Great recording sound, great vocals and bass playing. Funnily enough I graciously dissagree with Mr. Funk and Mr. Urb, two authorities in the business of Funk, I think the way the drums are played gives the song an extra rubberband effect. That's how I feel it.

Great player with a wonderful tone, his basses were made by a guy from the Gibson custom workbench. They sound really nice.

Yeah Deon Estes (or Estus??) great bass player and great job with Wham! specially that solo in "I'm your man" that was one of the best solos of the 80's. Well at least for me.

What I always found is that her music sounds like a mix of Corea and Camilo. I love her and what she does and Tony is a great musician and a very nice guys too. -
Dude, not wanting to tell you how to live your life or anything but you have to do it! Texan girls are something else, man, seriously! Bloody well done.
+1000000000000 on that! Mate do it, I know that if I was single and a bit younger I'd do it in a heartbeat. Man you're not the only one who has done some work for free that has come back with even better retribution, Mr. Guy Pratt played in Michael Jackson's "Earth Song" and never got paid but he says that when people know he played it it's done deal!.

No need to apologize, pop songs are meant to be silly and I quite enjoyed it in a silly kind of way. Mate that is part of your body of work and your legacy as musician so well done! keep the good work and good luck.
