1. A local pub we play at had a cancellation so we said aye, not realising it was footy night...ah well... As it happens, the night starts with a Hen party coming in so we jiggled the set around to give em some dancing choons, they staggered off later but returned after the footy, just as the footy crowd came in too, cue much dancing and varied flashing...culminating in an inpromptu blast of 'Sweet Child O Mine' a song we haven't we haven't played for months, no one seemed to notice the howlers (I started the bass intro in wrong key for openers!) All in all a cracking gig, and we go back in August...happy days!
2. After playing a couple of local festivals last year and getting good reviews, we got booked for 3 this year (2 by same mob) these were tentatively confirmed just before Xmas, but only a few weeks ago our man was frantically chasing around as we had heard nothing since, only to be finally told, 'oh we were massively over subscribed, some bands just had to go' So, when EXACTLY were you gonna tell us?? Arseholes to a man/woman, sometimes I just despair..........
3. What ho chap, some of us have been here for years and still ask stupid questions, so don't feel embarrassed!
4. Wotcha!...I'd say welcome and have a good look around, but it seems you've sussed that already!
5. Yes, it did make the rounds a while back, but by god..its worth highlighting again, the 77 version off Going for the One always made me shiver, and watching Yes do it last year, was SO disappointing, this however is utterly gorgeous, and brings back those old feelings. Good call Ead, to show it again, it has made my day!!!!
6.
The Rising Sun in Sudbury Hill - remember it?
Gordon Bennett that takes me back! My grandparents lived in Horsenden Crescent on the 60's, I remember seeing the pub when coming out of the station opposite as a wee lad of about 7. What I remember most is going to Woolies though That was a treat back then!!

8.
However, use what is best for what you use, I have heard perfectly reasonable people using music stands
Well that's a bit weird, surely a bit unwieldy if you are playing straight 16th's?
9. Fed up I couldn't make it, somewhat happier that a Zoom B3 did so well, I shall keep using mine and keep doing my happy dance!!!
10. I'm out I'm afraid, weekend shifts mean alternative plans dammit! Somebody please take pics of Greeks new toy as I'm dying to see how it looks!!!!

18.
Yeah I`ll bring it along Russ - prob have my Super12T with me as well.
Ooohhhhh thats it..I'm in!
19.
The truth is that these songs come up a lot because a lot of people who go to gigs like them. A few of them are always worth having in the locker for a general covers band to pull out in need of getting a crowd onside when the original set isn't quite gelling with your audience. They could rescue your gig.
thanks Kev...I feel better now for knowing as many of em as I do
20. oooooh...can't wait!
21. Oooh, I get to P'Boro quite a bit..I'm, def up for having a peek!
22.
I got fired from a band because I wouldn`t cough up £6000 to buy a rehearsal room. Apparently I wasn`t showing enough commitment.
THAT...is impressive!
23. Aarrgh...5 and 4 with current bands and 11 in total.......I am ashamed.......except for Maggie May and Black Night...love playing those two!
24. If Lozz is bringing his tone hammer along, I'll try and roll up with my Reidmar for comparisons, don't have anything really interesting to bring though
