    I don't think it has reverse-gear tuners. It's a 70s-style bass, and Fender had done away with the reverse-gear tuners in the '60s.

    I'd need to see the seafoam green in the flesh; it looks a lot more pastel in that video than it does in any pictures I've seen of it.

    I like the Fiesta Red, but the nut width looks the same as the Squiers and it really isn't manageable for me; needs to be wider. The Telebasses and the Jazzes look nice.

    I'm moving house in a few weeks so I'm going through some bits and pieces and clearing out what I don't need. I've had this just over a year but I've only used it a handful of times. It's in excellent condition and comes with the original box and manual (and sticker). Postage can be arranged for an additional fiver.

    As decent as a BBOT bridge can be, yes. Hosco stuff is generally pretty well made.

    Fender 9050L Flatwound Bass Strings, .045-.100. I bought them at the start of the year and had them fitted to my P Bass but they're too bright for me so I recently swapped them out for a set of Elites Detroit flats. Cut for a top-loading P Bass with about 2 or 3 winds on the tuner post. Silks are light green with very little wear. Can add a picture if required. Price includes postage.

    I'm moving house in a few weeks so I'm going through some bits and pieces and clearing out stuff I'm not using. Bought from Strung Out Guitars in Glasgow about this time last year for £60, but I've hardly used it. Some light surface marks but in full working order. This is the 18v version which requires 2 9v batteries (included). The 18v is apparently more sought-after than the later 9v version, more headroom or something.

    It does, I was thinking of the Shell Pink that Squier used on the Classic Vibe Bass VI and Jaguar/Jazzmasters (plus a few Mexican Fender models). They did a Squier Paranormal Super Sonic in Shell Pink that looks to be the same as the Rascal, and it was much closer to the "correct" shade IMO. The few pictures & videos I've seen of the Shell Pink Rascal look very good, I just need to try and get a shot of one first to see how I get on with the scale and the neck.

    Matt Freeman of Rancid had a signature Precision that he often used live, as well as his vintage Fenders. I had both the black and white versions and they're the only basses I truly regret selling.

    If they sort out the nut width on the Bass VI I'd be very tempted. I've got the Squier VI but it's way too narrow at the nut for 6 strings

    Tuner holes are right for an SQ. I had an SQ neck that was excellent, but unfortunately had taken a bend that I couldn't correct.

    It was a Musicmaster I had. It all felt a bit too small. My worry is that the frets will feel too close together, and the position of the bridge is where I would normally put my hand on the likes of a P.

    Sometimes you just get an itch for something different and it's only with hindsight that you realise that you should have probably stuck with what you had. I sold a USA Fender Precision years ago and used the proceeds to build a Jazz from parts that was pretty underwhelming. Last year I sold a MIJ Precision and built another 50s-style P. The new bass is nice, but after finishing the build I realised that I'd have probably been better off keeping the MIJ. Perhaps the moral of the story is that I shouldn't build my own bitsas.

    A guy I follow on Instagram posted that they were showing briefly on the Fender website, but weren't available anywhere and were taken down. Possibly a CME/Anderton's exclusive like the some of the Bass VI models were. I wouldn't get it myself; the "Shell Pink" used by Fender nowadays isn't pastel enough to be Shell Pink IMO
