1. Weird - it's none of those. I have a stacked pot to blend the pickups (not attached to a PCB), what looks like a volume pot attached to a small PCB, and a separate pot wired up like a traditional tone knob.
2.
Could I just point out that it is the tone control that is active not the volume. Good luck with the sale, seems like a fair price.
This suggests that I need to look at the wiring. TEMPORARILY WITHDRAWN WHILE I GET TO THE BOTTOM OF THIS.
3. Should I put this in the double bass section as well?

5. Some parts for projects that will never happen now... Jazz bass pickguard for a '62 (it says on the packet). Only taken out of the packet to measure screw holes. 4-ply. Still has protective film on. SOLD Hipshot Triple Lock Down in chrome for a 4-string bass. Unopened. Like this: http://store.hipshotproducts.com/cart.php?...t_list&c=24. Will take £30 shipped. Hohner B Bass. Unstarted project, but a nice thru-neck bass with an interesting drop-tuning Steinberger-designed bridge. Missing a tuner (plus one installed upside-down by previous owner), active circuitry, jack socket and backplate. SOLD More parts will appear here as I clear things out. Bank transfer preferred for all payments. Thanks.
6. My beloved and now redundant (that band has split up!) mini GK amp. Has the odd scratch and dent but works perfectly. Bought from a basschatter (I forget who!) three years ago and has seen about 20-30 gigs since then. Yours for £250 if you pick it up (in London), or can ship at cost. Bank transfer preferred. 100W into the internal speaker, 150 if you connect an external one. Powerful enough for jazz gigs and beloved of double bass players. I used to use it to play high bass in a rock band - cut through really nicely over the low bass player's Mesa 400+.

15. Made of solid wood of some kind. Yours for nothing if picked up, or you pay postage if shipped.
16. BOSS LS-2. Worn but working. Yours for £30 posted. Pics will follow once my camera charges up!
17. Bump. Any offers or trades out there?
18. Up for sale my favourite bargain do-anything bass. Japanese made. Serial number makes it a 1985 model. Has a powerful active EQ that can turn it into a real thunderer down low! All working, in nice condition with the odd nick and scratch. Nothing major for a bass of this age. All original as far as I can tell. Fitted with brand new batteries! SOLD Sorry abut the pictures (especially the reflections) - hard to get a decent photo of something so black!
