  1. I recently bought myself a 12-string bass to see how I get along with the sound and, really, although it sounds amazing I'm never going to get to play it. Here's a link to the eBay auction: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/160701186769 Everything about this bass works perfectly, and the condition is very good for a used bass. The strings are OK, but I'd replace them if I was keeping it. Happy to let it got for what it cost me (£140) with postage on top, unless you'd like to come and pick it up from me in London in which case no postage to pay! A cheap way to see how much fun 12 strings are!
  2. Ask the guitarist in your life if he fancies an upgrade. This is my Mesa Boogie Thiele 1x12 cab, in amazing condition, ungigged, with the proper 200W 8ohm Electro Voice Black Shadow EVM-12L speaker in it. Closed back. Loud as hell, clear as anything and yours for £300 plus shipping at cost. Or £300 flat if you come and pick it up from North London. New these retail at £500 with a 90W Celestion in. The speaker along costs £200 (and up) new. Better pictures available once I find my camera and stop using my phone.
  3. Mark bought my Korg Pitchblack tuner. He's a gent and easy to deal with.
  4. Two tuners. Both a bit scratched and with paint chips, but working great. Both also have velcro on the back. TU-2 £30 shipped to the UK Pitchblack - £35 shipped to the UK
  5. John bought my MicroPog, and was a pleasure to deal with. Recommended!
  6. A power amp the size of a fuzz pedal. How much more 21st century can you get? http://www.ehx.com/products/44-magnum I bought this for playing guitar but, combined with a Sansamp and a sensitive 1x15 it's been loud enough to keep up at a couple of band practices on bass. Time for it to move on, though. Comes with the box and original power adaptor, and has only been used maybe 5 times in rehearsals. £75 posted in the UK. Outside the UK, PM me and we'll work out a shipping cost. [attachment=96979:44magnum.jpg]
  7. Does this have a UK plug on the power supply? Will take it if so.
  8. Love my h4n. Used it with a stereo mic pre to record a three piece band (one overhead, one kick mic, guitar and bass), regularly use it to record comedy gigs too. You need to buy some cables to get the most out of all four channels, but totally worth it.
  9. There was one of these in my local second-hand shop for £149 recently. Seems to have sold now.

  11. Just met Nik today, selling him a Jolana shortscale. A real pleasure to deal with, a great communicator and a patient buyer. You should never fear about dealing with him. A treasure of basschat.
  12. I sold GF2003 a BOSS LS-2 last week. He was a pleasure to deal with. Recommended!
  13. Picked up a few months ago from my local Cash Convertors. In lovely condition, with no marks that have ever caused me upset. The previous owner did some work to shield the pickups and control cavity with graphite, so it should be less noisy than a stock model. The control plate and pots are non-stock, because this bass had a J-Retro fitted when I bought it (since removed). I just put in a Jazz control set I had lying around. Another bass I look at and never play... Yours for £120 picked up in central London or £140 posted in the UK.
  14. Two projects that have been sitting in my flat for ages. They need to go because I'll never finish them. First, a strat copy. Bought because I thought the wood looked really cool with its darkened grain. What looks like a wooden scratchplate isn't - the body has been routed to give the illusion of a scratchplate. Needs a new neck pickup, the electronics sorting out, a backplate and a locking nut. Yours for £20 picked up from me in London or £40 posted neck-off. Second an Ibanez Rickenfaker. Has truss rod issues (ie it doesn't turn). Comes with a non-original scratchplate and original Ibanez TRC. Needs pickups, bridge, nut, electronics and the neck fixing. Again, this will never get fixed sitting in my flat so is going out at a big loss. Yours in this state for £50 picked up or £70 posted.
  15. BUMP! Super 55 gone. Sorry to those who called dibs - I didn't see your posts due to foolishly not looking at this thread, and someone DMed me for it.
