1. I sold GF2003 a BOSS LS-2 last week. He was a pleasure to deal with. Recommended!
2. Picked up a few months ago from my local Cash Convertors. In lovely condition, with no marks that have ever caused me upset. The previous owner did some work to shield the pickups and control cavity with graphite, so it should be less noisy than a stock model. The control plate and pots are non-stock, because this bass had a J-Retro fitted when I bought it (since removed). I just put in a Jazz control set I had lying around. Another bass I look at and never play... Yours for £120 picked up in central London or £140 posted in the UK.
3. Two projects that have been sitting in my flat for ages. They need to go because I'll never finish them. First, a strat copy. Bought because I thought the wood looked really cool with its darkened grain. What looks like a wooden scratchplate isn't - the body has been routed to give the illusion of a scratchplate. Needs a new neck pickup, the electronics sorting out, a backplate and a locking nut. Yours for £20 picked up from me in London or £40 posted neck-off. Second an Ibanez Rickenfaker. Has truss rod issues (ie it doesn't turn). Comes with a non-original scratchplate and original Ibanez TRC. Needs pickups, bridge, nut, electronics and the neck fixing. Again, this will never get fixed sitting in my flat so is going out at a big loss. Yours in this state for £50 picked up or £70 posted.
4. BUMP! Super 55 gone. Sorry to those who called dibs - I didn't see your posts due to foolishly not looking at this thread, and someone DMed me for it.
5. I picked this up last year on eBay. Turns out that it was for sale on basschat too, here: http://basschat.co.u...diamand__st__20 A nice short-scale (30" I think) bass that uses normal scale strings. Czechosolvakian in origin. Currently unstrung. Has a few bits of wear and chips to the paint (all visible on the photos). All working and surprisingly impressive sound. I should mention that it's missing its bridge in these photos - I'll pop that back into place before sending it to you! Here's someone (not me) playing one Youtube has compressed the sound all to hell, though. Now on sale again, since I haven't used it in a year. I was going to convert it to a 6-string but just don't have time. Yours for £70 picked up from London or £85 shipped. Or will trade for a Micro POG, with £10 your way.
6. Last chance before eBay. Make me an offer if you want either of these.
7. A pair of Basslines / Seymour Duncan Quarter Pounders for a jazz bass. One SJB-3N and one SJB-3B. They're lightly used, with plenty of cable still attached. Removed from my jazz bass bitsa. On sale for £60 inc postage. ADDED 11/12/11: Also now for sale a John East J-Retro 01. A bit scratched (photo makes it look worse than it is) and pots slightly scratchy when turned, hence lowered price. SOLD
8. More guitars to come. Including some weird and interesting ones!
9. This guy serviced my G-K 800RB a few years back. Did a good job. http://www.guitaraid.co.uk/
10. Holloway.
11. Picked this up back in May, but it's just not getting used. Here's the original thread with pictures: http://basschat.co.u...00-sold-pending SOLD!!
12. BUMP for price cut by £20.
13. Both bought on eBay over the last 5 or 6 years. Each of them lived on my P-bass for a while. Now it has an aluminium pickguard which suits me better, as I like everything to be aluminium.
