1. Just what I've been after! PMed.
2. Do you have a link? I can't find the post.

4. My MB2-500 has played plenty of very, very noisy shows and has held its own without PA assistance. It even managed to blow up a 400W EVM-15L once (to be fair I think the bass player in question was putting what sounded like a 50Hz square wave through it). At our last gig a bassplayer of 20 years experience came and asked me exact details of my entire rig because he was blown away by the volume and clarity. And I think he wanted to copy it. And I don't have an endorsement deal.
5. I have four strings worth of HipShot monorail bridge, totally new, still in the original sealed packet. Part of a job lot of bass bits I picked up and surplus to my needs. BassDirect price is £96 for this. I'll sell them to you for £50 shipped in the UK. In chrome and identical to this: http://store.hipshotproducts.com/cart.php?...etail&p=222
6. It has been kindly pointed out that I listed my Lefty SX P-bass in the wrong place. Oops! http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=125907

8. As part of a job lot of guitars I bought on eBay last week (I was only after one of them!) I have this lefty, short-scale P Bass made by SX. I'm right-handed so it's no use to me. It works, it looks good (apart from some tiny marks and my fingerprints!) and it sounds good. It's missing a knob, but I'll pull a matching replacement out of my parts box and install it before I ship it out. It's a 30" scale. Available to pickup in London, or I can ship (but you'll have to give me time to get a box etc). £70 picked up. Postage will be charged extra at cost.
9. I've started engineering bands. I don't want to be known as a particularly amazing engineer, just as the person you should call if you have an interesting bass sound and want to keep it that way. It was because one band I was in mixed me out of the recordings completely (to make more 'space' for the doubled guitar).

11. I use Sennheiser 650s. They work really well, but I have also bought some monitors to double-check once I think the mixes are done.
