Sorry I meant the other side of the neck there is normally a stamp showing the model number. I have had a few different type Jap made fenders and all of them have had the model number stamped on the neck pocket of the body like below. Not the sticker but the ink stamping below it. If you know and trust the previous owner then don't worry about it. Looks like a nice 62RI
Here's a picture of my three jazzes. My Geddy Lee, '75 Reissue (refinished by BassDoc) and '62 reissue. I like jazzes
That 75 is lovely. In fact perfect.

I never seen a fender Japan with that style of stamp before. What is stamped on the neck? Maybe you have a fender neck and other make body.

Hi guys, I am selling my 1994, '57 RI, two tone sunburst, maple necked, made in Japan P-bass. A great looking, playing and sounding guitar. I purchased this from someone on basschat before Christmas and am now looking to sell it on. The main reason is a prefer the Jazz bass to a P-bass which is a shame as its a stunning guitar. Neck and frets are in great condition and it has a lovely low action. I think its strung with D'Addario XL Chromes. On the headstock some of the lacquer is starting to lift and on the body there are some cracks on the lacquer. The best way to describe it is if some one had run a razor blade across the body. The previous owner said this was caused by a sudden temp change and the lacquer shrunk. As far as I can tell I only the lacquer is affected and not the colour coat or wood. Also the G tuning key is slightly bent on the top of the key. I only just noticed when I was taking the photos today. Bass can be shipped and comes with a kinsman hard case. Let me know where you want the bass shipped to and I will get a price. Bass weighs 4.1Kgs. Photos are click-able and will take you to the full res version and the rest of the photos in the set on flickr Link to my feedback thread

Rocksmith 2014 - how to get the most out of it
Kempy535 replied to ParrotDye's topic in General Discussion
I have tried and cannot get on with rocksmith. The note to fret placement has you running all over the fret board. I found the timing to be slightly off or weird and also when learning a song the you can over play notes in the rhythm and you still score perfect. I know the score master corrects this but I would rather learn the rhythm in the lesson section. I also found the volume level to change mid song and the tones to be a little off. The most annoying thing is the song choice. I was under the impression that you could buy any rocksmith song and use it in RS2014. So i purchased the game and then found out this wasn't the case. If I wanted the old songs from RS I had to buy the old game and then the song then port them across. This seems like a really stupid way of dong this. Even more so when you can find a version of the game with all the songs and dlc for free For me it was a waste of money -
Works for me. I even get a price and the option to buy it and free coffee.

I bought part of my old bass back off of Peter. A super nice guy to deal with. Highly recommend
Quick question lads: isn't the truss rod access normally up at the headstock?
Nope they based loosely on the 60's style re issues. So truss rod s adjusted from the bottom of the neck
