1. Ok, new to the upright thing - who should i be listening to to get a feel for the instrument? (awaiting an EUB any day now). I'm looking at incorporating it in my covers band set on some tunes (bluesy/rocky set with the usual wedding tunes in it :-) ) Thanks guys and gals Graeme
2.
Sorry to be so distrusting, but these are worrying times, and I really have to ask: do you actually have any documentary evidence that the Boo Boo in question belongs to you? How can we be sure that it really is your very own Boo Boo?
you have a point - i believe it was contested in court in that famous case 'Boo Boo Vs Boo Boo'

15. HI - Do you still play your Feline basses?
16. Cheers Fingerz - you're spot on about the sound. I have put slightly lighter strings on (from 45-105 to 40-100). I'll spend a bit of time on it later and see if i can sort it Thanks for the response, much appreciated Cheers Graeme
17. Hi all My bass (Warwick Rockbass Corvette 4 string - brand new, no fret wear etc) has develope a quite pronounced ping when you fret the 2nd fret of the A and D strings. I have recently straightened the neck slightly, but it still has some relief. The note frets ok, and and sounds (unplugged) but the fret ping is a bit annoying. Is the nut too high? It's an adjustable one so imay have a play Anyone else had a ping? It does it with both old and new strings. Any help would be fab Thanks guys and girls Graeme

19. Hi. Have owned both and loved both. I found the Status to be more versatile sound wise, but uncomfortable to play (Used Kingbass mk1) whereas the Jaydee (New Roadie 1 Active) played like a dream, but to me it lacked bottom end. Jaydee wait times for new are huge (18 months at least) whereas Status last time i looked for about 4 months. Used they do appear, but avoid early Jaydee as some (not all) are known for bendy/unstable necks Regret selling both, but am now a Warwick man (also worth considering too :-) ) Horses for courses really - try as many as you can (usual advice i know). Keeo your eyes on here, Statii and Talkbass. Good luck in your search dude Graeme
20. yep - agree around the £300 to £350 mark seems fair. I had one back in the day and like alot of othes, regret selling it (although mine was no minter). You coudl drop into the statii forum to get the view from the Statii massive :-)
