EDIT: A Fender has come up and I need a QUICK sale.

Warwick Corvette $$ 2006 - Black High Polish finish & Black Hardware

This has been my main bass for nearly three years. I can attest to its quality, playability, and unequivocally its reliability. But for some reason, I feel like a change. I have other basses I love, but I want a Fender Jazz Bass. I want Fender on one of my headstocks in black and gold. f*** knows why.

Made in Germany.

Everything working perfectly. Very little wear, no buckle rash. Almost no fret wear, very well looked after, strung with DR Neons, includes user kit (but the user kit cloth is missing).

Weight - 9lbs 4oz (and beautifully balanced)
Action at 24th 2.5mm

Ovangkol Neck - smooth, lovely and tactile, and very fast. MoP side dots.
Wenge Fingerboard - like a slab of dark chocolate, not the usual open grain wenge.
Bell Brass Frets - 24 beautifully finished.
Just-a-Nut III
38mm nut width, ie. Fender Jazz.

The Fingerboard inlays are actually Creative Cuts vinyl adhesive ones. They look very, very convincing but they come off easily with no damage or residue if you wish to remove them.

USA Swamp Ash Body

Scale length: 34" (long scale)
Passive MEC MM-Style humbuckers
Active MEC 2-way electronics
Two 3-way mini-switches for separate configuration of the humbuckers (series / parallel / single-coil)
Pull-for-passive volume control

This is a really lovely bass to play, very smooth, and recently had a quick set up by Bernie Goodfellow.

£580. Cash on collection in Ealing, West London preferred The trades I am really interested in are: a white Fender Power Jazz Special MIJ in excellent condition which I would expect to be valued at around £400-£450ish given what I have seen others sell for. I would also be interested in a Geddy Lee MIJ Jazz, or other MIJ/MIA Jazzes, or a P Bass with Jazz neck, but not MIM. I prefer glossy necks, and adore block & bound.

Cheers,
Nigel

In action at the Roundhouse a couple of weeks ago, and as near to a Bass Face as I have ever got :)

Back on after a massive car repair bill. I had some spare cash but no longer.

Thanks mate. Appreciated. I hear great things about the Jazz 24, but I am looking for a more traditional looking Fender. Best of luck with your sale, Andy.

Cheers, N

it looks great- what are those RED STRINGS!?
good luck, joe
Thanks mate.

They are orange DR Neons. They are fantastic strings, a bit like the DR Hi-Beams I believe. I usually go for Black Beauties.
