1. How about this? Cool as....., and 350w of plug and go groove! http://basschat.co.uk/topic/312740-fender-tv-bassman-duo-ten-350w-combo-amazing-vintage-loveliness/page__pid__3381773#entry3381773 Shameless plug, but sounds just what you're after. Rick
2.
Wow, that really looks the part! PS: I use CubeUpload for pics since PhotoBucket went tits-up, it's really simple: https://cubeupload.com/welcome
Thanks Mark, sounds easier, will give it a look. Appreciate the help! Hopefully the pics are visible now? Rick
3. That's how i used to do it, those links aren't visible anymore, it just has one copy link, and it doesn't work, it isn't even visible. If i could post pics, I'd show you the screen I have, and yes, I'm using a PC. Appreciate the help, but only basschat seems to have this complex way of posting pics. Seems you have to right click the picture on imgur now, for the links drop box to appear. It was always as the screen shot shown above, now you have to guess yourself where everything is. Think they call it progress or improvement....
4. What can I say, it doesn't work, it says its not supported? The link options quoted on the basschat help page aren't there any more, so they said to use the direct link, which I tried. It seems I'm not alone though. There was a time when every post had pics, now its probably 20%.
5. Reduced to sell. Now £395 Fender TV Bassman, Duo-Ten 350w tweed combo This amp has been my main playing amp for a few years, and most of the relic wear is genuine road wear. Huge sound, very loud, as you'd expect. Vintage tones. If you want a vintage style look, with modern reliability and features, in a compact combo, with plenty of headroom, then you wont get any better than this. I still dont understand why Fender only made these briefly? Not keen on posting, so collection only initially, trial welcome. Midlands based, so in the middle of everywhere! These are rare anywhere, especially in the UK, the only other I've seen is over £1300: http://www.ebay.co.u...H8AAOSwkRJZqOVL Grab a bargain! 6. More than happy to add to these positive comments, it was just easy, simple as that, just how it should be. Great comms, great packaging, item as described, sent super promptly. Happy days. Thank you Etienne. Deal with confidence folks. Rick
7. Agree with comments above. Lots of white pickguards in the late 60's had pearloid backs, as they had a huge surplus of the sheet material. Most Telecaster bass's have pearloid back white guards, or did before they perished. Surplus was probably because they realised it looked awful, and didn't widen the use across the range.
8. Loving this Luke, fantastic work, you must be chuffed so far!

Better than any others I’ve seen, and certainly more accurate. Pricing is not easy, as the parts alone add up to quite a bit, let alone the time spent in ageing it all. I know the price of Limelights, but this certainly isn’t one of those. I also know the price of Bravewoods, and it isn’t one of those either (they are excellent, although the replica he made many years ago didn’t have a maple-cap neck), so I figure a price in the middle of those two would be sensible, so that’s what I’ve done. Any comments on price, or sensible offers, drop me a PM. If it doesn’t sell, it’ll go in the loft for resurrection in another few years. PX wise?, not really looking for anything, and need space, but a first series export ’57 JV P would be a possible exception. Can take more pics if necessary, just ask. Get that 'Live at Leeds' look and feel, without the £25k price tag in fact for the price of a MIM!!
10. Price drop bump. Lots of interest, lots of people ignoring my replies. Reduced for quick, genuine sale, an absolute steal.
11.
Interest in a 1960s East German ply bass in awesome condition,no breaks ever, Ebony fingerboard & cash my way?
Not sure what that is, but looking for a sale. Thanks for the interest.
12. Thanks for the reply. That's exactly what I've now done. I now need to decide if I sell as it is, or spend a bit to restore, and then sell for much more?
