4. Lovely, I have an identical Bassman. That price is fantastic too, so have a bump from me, someone is going to be very happy with this vintage blonde loveliness!
5. Nice, best looking bass I've seen on here for a looong time. Sunburst, Dot & Bound neck, lollipops. Lush. Bump worthy GLWTS

8. Latest purchase, 220 Head and 402 cab. I love the slimline cab, some of the others are just too deep and bulky, but this is a great little rig. All original, and fab condition. Has the wooden pedal too.
9. Fabulous bass, nice grain too, congrats, I love these single coil contoured P's, very similar to my '55.
10. Quiet morning, so thought I'd dust off some of the gear, and give them a spin, here's a bunch of my '61 stuff, and their various bits of case candy.
11. Nice early one. Bump worthy. GLWTS

13. Met up with Mark today, to handover my Tweed Bassman he'd bought, couldn't have gone to a nicer bloke. Can only echo what others have said, it's all good. Enjoy the amp.
14.
Wonderful, beautiful sounding amps Had one from the mid 70's through to the mid 80's - sounded sooooo good through various cabs and never missed a beat (unlike me) In fact if memory serves, I may still have the dedicated beautifully crafted, wood finish footswitch to switch the graphic in and out, up in the attic somewhere - eeeeeek!! What are the dimensions and the weight by the way? - nooooooo get thee behind me o Satan of GAS - type bump
Thanks for the interest.....but.....,I've just decided, this afternoon in fact, to withdraw it. Someone contacted me about a matching cab, and made me an offer I simply couldn't refuse, so a quick spin up the motorway, and back, and it now has its partner, a 402 cab. 2x15 original white dome speakers, no tampering, fab condition, and much slimmer than I thought. Just got it home; http://
15.
I might be misreading the ad but how much is it reduced to? Can only see the original price?
£395.
16.
Been counting pennies, but not looking hopeful. Quick question - what's the pickup?
So, bit of a brucey bonus here, had a look, and its a Seymour Duncan pickup, hand signed, which is scarce in itself. I've added pics to the listing, and here. Probably £120+ alone, having just done some googling! I'm selling a few things, and the first that sells will mean the rest are withdrawn, as need some quick readies. This was due to be a fab relic bass, and still could be. Don't dally if you're interested, this is a fab deal for someone, if I say so myself! http://
17.
Thanks for the update. Very very tempting...
You're welcome. I'm selling a few things at the moment, and the first one that sells will mean the rest are withdrawn, so don't dally. This is a grand cheaper than the only other one for sale anywhere, and if i didn't need some quick readies, it would be double this price. This is a crazy price for an extraordinary, and rarely seen amp. PM me, as I may be able to reduce a tad more for a quick sale.
18. £395. I changed the price using full editor, but it hasn't appeared. Apologies.
19.
Pic of the front?
Sorry Owen, it was there....re-added to the post, and here; http://
20. Handmade Fender Precision Body. 1954-1957 Shape, contour body, through body stringing. The body has the period correct large string ferrules, not perfectly aligned, as most originals, and they sit flush. This feature is rare, as 99% you see have the smaller ferrules that have the proud flange. Nitro finish 2-tone sunburst, totally correct shading balance to front and rear. The finish is already starting to craze and check nicely. It was sold as a Clive Brown body, (neck pocket is dated CB-00) but I have no provenance. I haven't tried to force the ageing, I'll leave that to the next owner. 2-saddle bridge with steel barrels Single ply white pickguard CTS pots dated 1998, cloth wiring. Chrome control plate and knobs. Hand signed Seymour Duncan pickup, cloth wraps. Single screw maple thumbrest, painted black. Strap buttons Switchcraft jack and ferrule unit. This bass just needs a neck, probably around £100, and its ready to go. Priced to sell, as need some readies for another purchase. Prefer collection from Northants, but could ship within the UK at cost, probably about £12?? (Could maybe deliver to West Mids) This is a fully vintage correct spec, loaded body, with nitro finish. http:// http:// " class="ipsImage" /> http://
21. If you're looking, then you probably know about these legendary amps. Acoustic Control Corporation 220 Head http:// The Acoustic 220 is a solid state bass guitar amplifier, good for live or studio. It has 160 watts of power and has connections for a speaker in the back as well as for your instrument in the front - one at 0 db and one at -15 db. It's not too hard to use the Acoustic 220, but there's still a good amount of control here, including a fantastic equalizer. The main controls are knobs for volume, treble, midrange, and bass, but it also has a five band graphic equalizer for extra control. Not looking to ship this ideally. Collection from Northampton or Birmingham. Great condition. Unsure on price, so PM with any comment or offer on that. Thanks
22. Here's one of my faves, 100% stock, very fine condition, 1961 Custom Colour Olympic White, stack knob Jazz. Comes with case, mutes, and all the original case candy, stack knob paperwork, even a spare set of unused strings! http://
