Ever feel like selling up everything and starting your gear journey all over again... Feeling that way about now... Could be a lot of classified ads up between Christmas and New Year!

Thank heavens Beedster's Mesa combo sold - I was dangerously close to nipping over to Whitstable... and I SO VERY don't need it. What a stunning lump of glorious sound. Boy, that was close😂

Anyone selling an Ashdown LB-30 Little Bastard?
-
Totally baffled... Just had a Scottish VW dealer refuse to sell me a used car because it's going to be registered in Northern Ireland... Answers on a postcard please!

Ashdown LB30 incoming!

@LowB_FTW it was DHL, but organised by The Gallery. I'd imagine they get better rates than us normal plebs!

The Gallery in Camden. 20 quid shipping to Norn Iron.
Had one before with the matching 2x12 and it was GLORIOUS, but not loud enough for war so sold it on as my Orange Terror covered similar territory. Big mistake...
Missed the LB drophead combo that sat in the classifieds here for months, but it planted the idea in my head again!

Heya all!
I am currently eyeing up amplifiers and such for basically the foreseeable future, and was wondering what the general take would be for my potential pick.I am wanting to have a more portable rig - as much as I'd love to invest in an SVT-CL or something of that ilk, it's just not an option for me being in a city with horrific parking, etc.
My current choice is a Darkglass Microtubes 900 v2 with the DG212N matching cabinet. The high wattage, alongside the Pre/Post DI functions and the very light weight are my main selling points towards purchasing this rig. I am currently playing in a band that mixes heavier, distorted bass tones alongside a clear, pokey clean sound. As my band has a mix of genres from Progressive/Hard Rock to Neo Soul, having a wide variety of sound is a must.
If anyone has any experience with this amp & cab, lots of information about them would greatly appreciated - nowhere close to me has them in stock, so trying them out is also not an option.
Thanks very much!
Goose.

Was getting all excited over a 300 quid long service award from work. What to buy? Liked the look of the Origin Bassrig SV... Maybe go towards an Alpha Omega Photon...
Arrived today.... Vouchers for your choice of vendor. Fashion outlets, Amazon, Argos, M&S, Sainnsburys... FFS...

Follow-up to my NSBD (New Skirting Board Day), finally got some in place. Very pleased with the design. I don't do a lot of DIY so I'm quite chuffed with this.

I fitted a laminate floor in our bedroom and replaced all the skirting at the same time, rather than going the beading route. 2nd time I've done skirting. A satisfying job if your walls are square and plumb like they were on my 1st attempt, not so much when they aren't like, my 2nd attempt in a much newer house... But decent wood filler, decorators caulk and some patience with a paintbrush covers a multitude of sins!

Gotta love online sellers who live in the derrière end of nowhere but refuse to post pedals*

Does anyone know of a Wal-like LPDF filters out there which use three stacked controls rather than four (separate vol/pan)? I'm talking to Lustihand at the moment but their solution doesn't use a pan, just two volumes. I'm wondering if there are other options out there which include a pan.

And another amplug bites the dust, honestly even for the relatively modest price they go for the build quality is shocking, another case of £5 build quality on a £40 device

Just made a list of all the basses I’ve owned - 20 over 28 years. That’s OK, isn’t it? 😎

Playing my longest ever gig tonight. Two sets for a total of c.2 hours. Back should be fine (debut of sub 7lb Serek Midwestern bass).

There’s a nightingale singing outside my bedroom window. Oh, glorious.
