1. Been having a look at this as an add on to my MB II. My BDDI is a little temperamental lately Lozz are you finding the PF gets you close to this sound without the pedal? Why are you selling?
2. It`s all just a matter of correctly positioning the flux capacitors. Then you`ll see......
3. It`s all miiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiine! Mwu hahahahahahahaha! Now,after years of searching, finally I can complete my experiment! Open the roof Igor, the lightning comes!!!
4. They said pull your bloody thumb OUT, not OFF!
5. Um....half a christmas tree stand?
6. I use a combination of svt 410 and svt 15 together and it sounds very sweet to my ears with my Markbass II. They also sound great individually for smaller gigs. Another option you might consider is the 410HLF which is a monster cab and has more oomph than you can shake a micro amp at. I`m not sure I`m running with any Ampeg gang,I simply love the Ampeg sound. The historical importance of the brand is a bonus, just like that F logo. However, for practical purposes, the Barefaced vibe gets a massive amount of love here, and if like others you use an Ampeg head, then the BF cabs will honestly present that tone at a fraction of the size and weight, but alas not the price. So, a few hard choices to make. MM
7. Down to the lake,I fear.
8. Me and Alanis don`t really do irony, but I`ll take your word for it.

10. Aah ok. um..right. So that`s like Camerons party insignia tattooed on the young gentlemans chest then? Bit um.. retro aint it? Still, Cameron knows best. Can`t be that unusual coz I saw one of the royal princes had the same one at a party a while back. Something to do with Bhuddists innit?
11. I seeeeeee..... (no I don`t)

13. Shocking gig. Drummer forgot a stand so took 40 min going home to get it, wouldn`t let us s/check anything while he was gone as he`s a nutso control freak. You can`t imagine how frustrating it is to sit and watch someone operate a mixing desk when they clearly don`t know what they are doing. So I informed him I`m operating basic services from now on, turn up, play bass, take money, run. His kick beater fell off in one song. The lunatic keyboard player completely forgot the intro of a recent set addition and when reminded, played it in the wrong key badly. My cat could have sounded better chasing a mouse across the keys while high on catnip. The singer didn`t like this wrong key sh*t. She didn`t like it so much she forgot a verse in the next song, and just stood there while we all went round and round waiting for her to sing it. I decided to detune my bass during bruno mars just the way you are, (no bloody bassline,me being clever), ready for the next tune as I only took one bass last night to save space. I was apparently expected to do a little bass solo when introduced... hmm that went.. um...ok...mid tuning.. I have bruises on my right elbow from the keyboard stand and a dent on my bass neck where the drummer twatted it while aiming at a cymbal pad. Yes ,it`s a small gig. The bar manager was a little upset we finished 10 min early, to which I said to the now agitated drummer(and band boss) we.need.more.tunes."No no no that`s not the point, we need bigger gaps and more talking to the audience" I think I need another band.
14. Ta for the info Gentlemen. Squier P special and a G+L SB2 (I know in my toes that one won`t be the cheaper option!) Google is my friend.
15. Ta for the reply. I have a neck in my crosshairs and the Hohner P is MIJ I was thinking Wizard trads, but what do the SDAs sound like?
16. He`s making a mistake lumping them all together. Nobody`ll want all of them.
17. Online specs! I can`t even find a pic of my Gold logo Hohner. Anyway, the MIM Jazz has what appears to be a depth of 18mm from top of f/board to back of neck. The Hohner looks more like 20mm. I`m eyeing up Jazz necks now. If I can find something old and vibey, I`ll stick it on the Hohner.
18. Heya, dunno how to measure that. Easy way?
19. Hi Paul. Ta for the input. I`ve looked at Westones in the past and I think they`re ok, but I`m a Fender whore now and would prefer a Fender alternative. I played my Vox Standard for 12 years with no hand problems but I was a lot younger then so who knows. It`s too heavy to gig with now, though sounds superb. I`m going for J neck on P body I reckon. Regards, MM
20. Hmm, don`t know... Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
21.
They sound a bit like Joy Division
Yes they do, and that happens to be the very same Vox model guitar Ian curtis used. Coincidence? He had proper legs though.
22. Ta Mike, yes I`m leaning that way. I really like the simplicity of the P sound but reckon the J necks have caught me now. I`ll stick one of my MIM J necks on and have a go. MM
