[/quote] The PF is nearly there, digging in I can get a fair bit of the Ampeg grind with just the amp, though not as much as the VT1 gives. The VT1 is a great pedal, and really adds valvey warmth, and grit, if required to the sound. I`ve just found that I prefer the sound of the PF on it`s own.
