The limiter is the same. There were plans to enhance it but it never happened. To my knowledge the only difference on a III is the D.I out can be routed pre-or post eq on an external button as opposed to the II which is an internal jumper. Nothing else is different.
2. Access to easy wine gums. Man

4. Hi all. So I need a little cash, (vans turbo has gone) but need to keep a micro head for my smaller gigs, and I`d really like to try the Ampeg PF500. Which is why I`m selling my MB2. I`m after £350 posted to mainland UK Pics. I`ve been using an old dell laptop bag which carries it perfectly with room for power and signal cables and it`ll come posted in that in a box. MM
5. Hi Andy, did you manage a trade? I`m in the same place and wondered if you preferred the Ampeg?
6. Been playing this lately and it is good fun.
7. The 410HLF is also a 4ohm cab so you could use one of those.
8. I just bought a Gigbag from Dean and it was a hassles free and superquick experience! Thanks Dean. MM

12. I`m just settling in to my new band, and I must say compared to the dance band I`m in it`s almost too easy. We are bashing out songs none of us have played, to see if they work and they`re actually sounding pretty good. We don`t seem to want to go home at the end of rehearsals either, being happy to chat or keep playing. The dance band took months to get a set together and they still sound nothing like they`re sposed to,mainly due to laziness on the keys part. It`s actually a chore keeping them in a rehearsal for longer than 90 minutes. Blademan, good luck with it, and I hope it continues to be fun. MM
13. Gents, sorry for the late reply,I got a quick PM on this almost immediately after posting and it`s now sold subject to the usual. If the deal falls through I`ll offer it to the first poster and so on. Again, apologies for not posting sooner. MM
14. Paul sold me an excellent double bass pickup for a great price. Makes my URB sound fantastic. Comms and postal time were superfast. Recommended! Many thanks MM
15. I have a VT1 by Dave Hall for sale. I don`t want to sell it but I need the cash for an amp upgrade. Even so, I wouldn`t be selling it if I hadn`t bought an Ampeg svp valve pre-amp which now provides all the valves I need. Doesn`t fit in my gigbag like the VT1 though This pedal adds lovely valve goodness at even very subtle settings, it adds grind at medium settings and gets nasty at hard settings. It has very simple controls that make for easy tone finding in a "set and forget" type use, to add that valve front end to your solid state amp,and the volume and treble boost switches are really useful for setting the unit as a dedicated overdrive. Made simply but with quality components this unit will last forever. The valve is easy to swap out so you can have a bit of fun trying different tnes/types out. At present there is an Electro Harmonix 12ax7 fitted. This comes with a good quality 12v power supply. A quick google will throw up many excellent reviews of this pedal, here and in the U.S I`m looking for a quick sale @£50 posted to mainland UK MM
16. Interested in the Ampeg.
17. Liked it, I don`t usually. Good tight rhythm holding it down doing all the right things. Congrats.
18. Bought a lovely leather strap with schaller straploks from Mike on Frid, he posted it Sat and it`s on my bass this a.m! New years eve etc all in the middle. Superfast delivery and a bargain buy. >Delighted. Thanks Mike. MM
19. All my notifications were mysteriously disabled around the time of the facelift, might be worth checking all your personal settings again.
20. Congrats, it`s a really nice feeling owning an upright. Now go and talk to your bank manager because you will need strings, a bridge (probably) and a pickup (inevitably).
