1. Point me to that dining table!
2. Are there cakes?!
3. Hi all - -just to add a note here, the Digitech FS3x is a budget way into the footswitch workings oif the TC Electronics BG and BH amps. Half the price of their own branded footswitch, and works perfectly. Switches are fairly close together, but no more than most of these setips
4. Head is sold (to me), Cab may be still available yes
5. If you're up to splitting the rig, I'd be interested in the cab
6. how much would postage be to UK mainland ?
7. Where in West Yorkshire is your house Dude01422?! But yes, things find their value - knowing the Genz Benz Contour I think they are an absolute steal for the price, excellent quality and sadly missed. Cheers Fender!
8. thanks Chrismuzz I'm wondering whether a Markbass head, paired up to a cab from a different manufacturere is a good idea?
9. Is the general verdict that Markbass amp heads are great, their cabs/speakers not quite so?
10. from me no less I think!
11. Bump for a great Combo. I know, I have one.
12. this topic is a CAN OF WORMS! It's a choice between good technical bass playing and disliking the style of music the band plays, two different things?
13. Yum tempted. How much would p&p be UK mainland?
14. Pick up from where?
15. Delivery? Collection from where, please?

17.
Any recommendations gratefully appreciated. Stuff I'm familiar with and love includes Specials, Selector, Prince Buster, King Tubby and various stuff that Sly and Robbie have played on. For whatever reason, stuff that leaves me cold is Madness (apart from Night Boat To Cairo) and Bob Marley. I think I must be in good company when it comes to sharing this love of ska / reggae / dub stuff as it's also a big influence on people I admire like Killing Joke and Godflesh.
no criticism meant here, but please listen again to Bob Marley and The Wailers stuff - some great reggae bass lines. My faves incloude Rat Race, War, Night Shift, and straight forward stuff like Rastaman Live Up. I also really rate The Alpha Blondy and The Wailers album Jerusalem, bar the electronic drums that is...
18. Yum What's the nut made of, out of interest?
19. Cheshiredave I can help with this - A digitech has a single lead out with a stereo jack on it, and is for a few units that pick up on the stereo connectors for 3 way switching. The TC Electronics stuff works like this for example
20. What's occurring with the jack leads from this?! Three leads out - do these split from a separate connector? cheers
21. looks like a 15 to me
22. Hi.how old is this - is it still under guarantee? Has it had any issues with the power supply?
23.
Used to love playing 'The bed's too big without you'. If UB40 can get in here so can the Police.
You can always promote the cover version! Sheila Hylton http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JpBqj5UeRQU
