a beauty this. I had the 5 string version. Couldn't get on with 5 string though, but it played like a dream and sounded great. If only I had the 4 string version.

Made in Japan, serial no. 951964 so manufactured 1995 I believe. Plenty of info on the net about the quality of these Japanese made guitars, not to be confused with the later ones manufactured elsewhere in the Far East. This Bass is in excellent condition both technically and aesthetically, and plays brilliantly. Alder body, 1 piece maple neck and rosewood 24 fret fingerboard. The body is relatively small for a bass and is therefore easy to handle. The neck is straight, the trussrod adjustment is fine, all electronics working without crackles. The guitar uses a 9V battery (in the back cover) for the active controls. The pickups are SGC, the hardware is by Gotoh. There are no marks on the fretboard or neck. There are a few tiny dings on the body - message me if you want pics or more info, but these are minor and have not affected the deep lacquer which shows the sunburst finish to good effect. The Bass comes with a red-lined hard case. Buy via Paypal, or preferably Cash on Collection is fine.I am very close to the M1 junction 21. I will courier for £20 (and to UK mainland only).
