Yep! No and yes. And sadly mine has had to go back (long story) gutted. But if any other promethean owners fancy buying the male to female jack I had made by obbm for it gimmie a shout! Let's you put the head on top on the combo cabinet. Much better than slotting in the back. Esp when it's on top of the ext cab. (which is awesome btw!)

Oooh and a very young Dave Navarro with blue dreads in Janes Addiction doing been caught stealing on a v tasty sparkly yellow tele shaped thing. Prob a G+L. Bass is rather naff on that one though.

It's a great show with some ace performances and great for bass spotting. Lots of trace, some nice tbirds (belly) that loud p bass (sugar) there's sonic youth with a huge mockingbird and a tasty lead solo on a jazz bass from dinosaur jnr, and Darcy with the pumpkins looks amazing!!

Tim Commerford did have a stingray with a replacement bridge, back in the early days of ratm, I think it was a badass 1 The bass was a natural one with stickers and no pickguard, it looked a bit iffy tbh. He used it on the late show 'no nirvana' special, there first uk tv appearance. I still have it on VHS!

I'm poor so i use fretfx. Ever since a lighting lady plunged us into a blackout as inflow up the neck for my solo and ended up like a tone flat!

I think pearl_jammin had em in his Geddy and when I heard him play with em it sounded fantastic.

I find it depends what cab I'm using but overall most popular spot seems to be about 8-9 o clck for me

The promethean cab is fantastic and very light

Is it wrong to get a bit excited over a strap? I'd love one but I adjust the strap on the fly from song to song so I have the 'buckle' at the front so I can slide, slide down. Which depressingly precludes me from anything other than the cheap black webbing straps I've used for so long. I have a comfort strapp kicking around tho.

Really I think the Gaf signature jazz is way overdue and I reckon they'd shift a few!! Sonic blue with maple neck, stripes, aged hardware a gaffer pickup and of course relic'd! (although mines all real wear n tear but y'know!) Like that <-- ;-) heh heh

I can't help but be wary of behringer ( 1st hand tho, not web here-say) But the art looks good. I've got one of their two channel practice boxes and it's a cracking little thing.

On the plus side 'Henry the 8x8' Cracking name!
