I disagree with the furry comment too, mine was 50% vinyl, 50% furry and was just awesome. I'd still be using it but for the weight, and if I ever go back to heavy stuff this is what I'll go back to. Great rig that never ever let me down.
We get really mixed responses so I'd love basschatters thoughts we are off to Cambridge today for Fordham Music Festival 2010! We're on 3.30pm on the amazing travelling stage.
they have a shuttlebus service running from Cambridge and Newmarket train stations. Their number is 07950 271147. It costs £8 from Cambridge and £5 from Newmarket.
i really want one these to ease the pain of having to sell my walnut body to build my dream bass back at christmas when life went badly wrong and i had to sell tons of stuff.
Sadly im skint having just done some amp buying but if this hangs around a bit who knows..

Ive owned both and i preferred the build fit n finish of the classic vibe but the sound of the VM. I also found the neck more stable on the CV and its easier to mod ime as parts seem to fit it better. I reckon if i buy again it'll be the CV (ive already owned 2 VM.s!)
That said the new VM looks lush!
im so glad i got my white (maple) 75ri like a week before they stopped selling new stuff abroad. Although about a year ago i was enquring about a number of basses in the u-box and they all seemed to have warped necks, humidity or reluctance to ship i dont know!
when i was in doublecross it got to be a nightmare, i needed my four and a backup four and a six and a backup six.
I quickly decided against playing sixers!
