1. If anyone wants it with the tortoiseshell scratch plate I can throw that in to seal the deal.
 2.
Actually........yours does have the matching headstock!! Here's the one i'm hoping to get;
That is nice. Wrap it up and send it over.
 3. Thanks Rick. I could trade my MIM for the '65 if you get it.
 4.
Great looking bass. Good luck with the sale. Have a bump on me
Thanks.
 5.
Where in Cornwall are you?
Near Wadebridge

 7. I would add a Barefaced compact. That would make an awesome rig.
 8.
What is the weight please and how does it compare to the RW in feel, weight and tone?
I have just put both basses on the scales, (not at the same time ) Road worn = 4kg Burgundy Mist = 4.4kg (my bathroom scales are not guaranteed to be accurate) It feels exactly the same as the Road Worn neck wise. You can notice the weight difference if you go from one to the other. Its not a heavy bass though. Tone? there is nothing in it, maaaybe less low mids but that might be the strings.
 9.
Ya don't see too many bass guitars in that finish , beautiful
Thanks
 10. Thanks bubinga5. Sorry, I can't help about the pickups. They sound great though!
 11. Hi, here is my Fender, Mexico, Burgundy Mist, '60s Re-Issue Jazz Bass with matching headstock!! Made in 2002-2003 it is one of the nicest Jazz basses I have owned. Being a '60s RI it has small reverse tuners, maple neck, rosewood fretboard, alder body, mint scratch plate. Its all here. I don't want to sell it but I need to free up some cash and have a Road Worn Jazz as my main bass. It is in excellent condition throughout. There are a few tiny dings but nothing of concern. Price is £550 shipped in the UK. I am in Cornwall if you want to try before you buy. Any inspection is welcome. Comes with Fender gig bag. Any questions just ask. I will let the pics do the talking.
 12. Thanks krazy_olie, I have an excellent repair chap near me so I may have him take a look. I will post the results if I do.
Deanow i would suspect yours has developed a similar issue, I.ll let you know if my suspicions are right, if they are having it fixed would not cost much. Could even be worth having all the green caps swapped for some higher grade ones whilst at it as they will go eventually.
13. I would be interested in any comments on this as mine is developing a hiss too. I cant take it back as I got it second hand.
 14. Have a looky at this The headstock seems wrong and there is paint in the truss rod area. I am not sure about this at all!
