1. Try stuff out. Whats the worst that could happen? Our guitarist tries stuff out all the time. Sometimes its great, sometimes its awful. He is a very competant guitarist, jazz player and all that. No one says anything in rehearsals. Thats what they are for.

11. One of my band members owns this company. http://www.be-bop.co.uk/ Tell him I sent you.
12. Listen to James Jamerson. His use of open strings is sublime.

14. Dont buy nice basses. It may save you a few quid too!
15. This one
16. Yes it sold. The seller told me a little about the buyer. Obviously I didnt ask for, or expect, their contact details. I was gutted I couldnt get the funds together for it. I did get a 1968 Selmer bass amp from the same seller. I have asked to view this bass in this new auction. Zero response so far. Approach with caution.
17. I watched this and was very impressed. Jessie J is very good. Nice bass playing sir. That last drum fill made me smile on Sat night. Good drummer.
18. I have been informed that the 1962 bass in the previous auction + pics still resides in Cornwall.
19. This is the original ebay auction. Here This first auction was genuine. I know because I viewed the bass and bid on it. The text in this new auction has been lifted from the original. I say scam.
20. Depends on your budget. I would look into American or Mexican roadworn necks. Thats just me though. There are a few on US ebay.
21. I wouldn't say a thumb was better than a streamer but different. I would recommend you try before you buy. Stingrays are awesome all round basses. You cant go wrong with a stingray imho. Once again, you have to try one out if possible. I sold my last Thumb, bolt on, for £850.
22.
Loved that video. Sounds like flats on that P bass ?
I emailed him and he replied. Nice guy. He said he thinks they are rounds on that video. He uses half rounds now. The set he has on his bass at the moment has been on there for over a year now.
23.
You can always tell how good a drummer is by the number of drums in their kit..... That fella was super.......oooh it's snowing.
I use the same drummer gauge myself. No snow here, just rain.
