As the title suggests the small room I use for my music is too boomy. From the bass amp to the stereo system. I'm not precious about perfection, nor do I want to spend a lot so I'm wondering what DIY low cost options there are to bring down the boom. Would some foam under the stereo speakers on the desk help a little? Bass traps on the walls (are these just big chunks of foam)?
Thanks
I use Wedgie 1mm nylons. I like the little bit of flexibility they give me but they also have the textured grip but double also they have a great concave dent for your thumb. I find them perfect for my terrible technique playing!

Just received a pedal board PSU from Daniel. Exactly what I need and a very fair price. Great communications through out. Thanks a million mate, really appreciate it
Just got the little tuner from Paul that he wanted rid of! Super helpful chap. Thanks for shipping so quickly and packed to survive the typical brutal postie! Much appreciated.
Thanks again

I bought a gold P bass bridge from Mick last year and the whole process was smooth, easy and was a pleasure. I just forgot to leave feedback, so am remedying that now!
Thanks again!

Top job!! I bought a fretless neck from Grahame last year and the whole process was seamless and smooth.
I just didn't know where to leave feedback and have only just realised. So, a bit late but thank you!

Thanks for the link, I've had a look and realised that this is going to be a costly operation, but I do want it to be right. Still, maybe if I do have a go myself I could video it and the ensuing comedic mess could become a viral hit!
Hi all!
I'm in the process of putting a bitsa fretless P bass together (nearly have everything now) and I really could do with some recommendations of who/where it could get it painted. I particularly want either a strong glitter or maybe a flake finish, just a single base colour. I struggle even working out which end of a paintbrush is which so it's not a job I can do!
I'm in Bournemouth so south coast would be great but shipping isn't an issue. I'm more than happy to put it all together after so it's just paint really.
Ta muchly
