So, the ever present question: Do I sell all these bits of kit that I don't actually use anymore, or keep them on the off chance that a band (job) might require them in the future. I could do with the cash frankly, but the value of the kit could mean that if I buy again in the future, I could end up paying more in the long run. Hmmmmmm

Is there a manufacturer who has or still makes self biasing valve bass amps?  The nearest amp tech to me lives in Hong Kong...700km away.

Possibly stupid question. Does arrange own courier mean that the seller is always willing to pack the instrument. I'm not missing or assuming something am I? Theres no packing courier service I've been unaware off. 

Struggling to keep an interest in becoming band worthy again.

So many people insist that I use social media that it has finally put me off asking, even on Basschat or JMB.

If I ever get offered bassist again it will be down to luck and word of mouth.  I see 'net dependence more and more in people around me.  Sure, there's lots of talk about regulation for people who have to use it for work but I never see progress in dealing with commercial push.  It depresses me.

Time for breakfast and a rethink about where best to spend my time.
