I was digging into the H9 the other day - lots of fun things. Do you use expression pedal with it?

I agree, I personally don't get why a digital capture of a specific amp you own is so much better than a digital capture of a specific amp that Line6 or whoever own.

I guess the obvious "standards" you see would be... VT bass Sansamp Tonehammer EBS microbass (maybe not as valvey) Ampeg SGT the trick is you learn to set it up for your sound - then send your DI signal to FOH from it, and use the amp as a stage monitor. Depending on the amp your stage sound might still sound like rubber bands and a tin can - but it doesn't matter as the FOH sound will be fine!

£2k is pretty good coin. My one thought is that buying secondhand at not stupid prices lets you buy try things without losing much money at all... and then lets you look at older basses that fit what you're after in your price bracket... a natural finish BB1200 for example, pre'92 streamer stage 1, and so on.

A lot of the wazacraft stuff have an option mode - what do you think it would be on an OC2 reissue?

I mean ideally I would like a guitar tech where I just pass them my bass and they pass me back one in tune, but it might be a bit odd when playing at church on a Sunday morning, so anything will probably work right?
