  4. wow you're wife is special, usually wives and girlfriends are happy when basses are sold!!
  5. I can confirm that pot crackle is due to not using the bass often. It takes just 1-2 hours of intense use and it goes away without even cleaning it! I'm sorry to hear that anyway, luckily you havr all your money,it could have been far worse! cheers, Fede
  6. Hello, I would never expected to do something like this, but I have no other choice: I bought a Fender bass from Bungshal and: 1) he didn't package the bass. The bass arrived me in its gigbag and nothing more. Imagine my dazzlement! Fortunately, DHL(which has treated the bass with extreme care (I insured it). 2) he forgot to send me the pickguard together with the bass(as we clearly stated). He apologized and said he would order a new one for me...then he disappeared!! It's been more than a month since last time I heard from him, he doesn't answer to my PMs anymore. CONCLUSIONS: I think you should buy from Bungshal only if you like to risk!!

  10. guys, don't look at the list prices, they are quite far from the shop prices. try to give a look at the price list on the Fender website.. anyway.. quite unhappy about these strong changes in Warwick. I had a 1996 corvette, one of the best bassed ever had. However, if I put my Marketing Management student suit, I see why they've made these choices.
  11. Hello guys, has been years I'm looking out dreaming about owning a Sadowsky bass, and in a not far future I'm planning to buy a used japanese one. However, I'm quite confused about the several models I see around. Someone says the older japanese models are better than the current, someone says it ain't so... well I'd like to know all the not US models Sadowsky has produced in his wide production so far, can someone shed light about this topic?? many thanks, Fede

  16. is this atk700 made in Japan?
  17. good packaging, great comm, the bass was in great conditions, with new strings and a perfect setup. Top fellow, I hope to find something to buy from you again!!
  18. Hi, my master had this bass as main bass, and I could play it several times. I preferred it to the standard US jazz, but it's not unlikely you could feel the opposite. The deluxe one is more modernish than the standard US, therefore it dependes on your tastes. However, Fender deluxe looks...deluxe if compared with the standard. Better woods, better playability, better finish.
  19. Hiperion is a great block to deal with, and Rome,as you can imagine, is a must-see!
  20. yes it is, VAT is a tax on the value of the good, is not a tax on the sell act. This means any good which just cross the UE Borders has to be charged for VAT plus custom fees.
  21. He's wily, saying that " I don't know anything about guitars" he frees himself from any responsability. However, at the same time he suggests(that's the artful part) it's a Music Man, in order to fish some naive unexpert bassist.
  22. sorry for that, I'm not British, ..what's "MK"?
