I had this but white, made in taiwan,and both tone and action were unbelievable, there's no other word to describe this bass. Now I'm looking for the 4 string version

best wood grain I've seen in a Natural finished Fender under 1000 quid!! To part with this awesome stuff must really hurt, good luck with the sale and have a free bump!

Hello everybody, If you're looking for the vintage sound, this bass is not for you,sorry. Whilst if you want a fast,powerful, mix-cutting modernish sound, I suggest you to go on reading. This bass features a Ash body under a maple top rosewood binded. Seymour Duncan SMB-4D pick up at the bridge Seymour Duncan SJB-3n pick up at the neck Custom Seymour Duncan STC-3p preamp: volume,blend,stack treble/bass, mid, and a switch wich allows to choose the mid frequency either on 800 or 400 hz. although these are great features, the best part is the playability. The strings are set as low as on my Sadowsky MV4, I'm not overstating at all. At the moment I am in Italy, but I'll deliver the bass insured with DHL, which takes 3-4 days to UK. I have good feedbacks so you can go and check. I'm cool with both Paypal (I'll explain you how to avoid fees) and bank transfer (on a Barkley account). The bass is really in mint condition. I'll throw in a padded Fender Deluxe bag. Everything on this bass is by Signature. Please notice that the colour of the body is a awesome "mint white". This colour is quite unique, you'll rarely see it. It's basically white, but it takes mint shades with artificial lights, whilst it takes pure white shades with natural light The pick ups are in '70 position The wood is Swamp Ash The sound goes a lot in the "Marcus Miller direction", still it has the woody passive bite which is fundamental for a funky fingering guy like I am. sorry, I didn't mean to say anything vicious. On the contrary, I really like the bass,and I highly value them since they sound awesome. From that, I've thought: "what a pity there is a Fender decal, since having a lawsuit Tokai and showing it at gigs would be something to be proud of". It is just my tought, somebody else probably will love the very Fender decal.
