I honestly don;t know about using more than 1 pedal. You could either shoot the guys an email at Gigrig, or maybe ask Higgie on here as I know he used/uses one? And the muff isn't mine I'm afraid....although the one I have is in even better condition

The XO Microsynth WILL work on a daisy chain, but you have to use a Gigrig Virtual Battery (about £25-30), attach it to a connector on the daisy chain then join the gigrig and the microsynth. The gigrig works as an isolated output and therefore takes away the 'daisy chain' element. I did this using a Johnnyshredfreak power supply and got no hum whatsoever. The Gigrig people are nice guys too so support them!

Lee bought some tuners I had, no problems at all, a thoroughly nice bloke and would deal with again in a jiffy!

Check out the Orange Crush series...either 20 watt or 35. I have a 20 that's plenty loud over acoustics and it sounds great too.

Hi all, I'm looking to sell these on. Bought them for a project bass I'm doing, but they don't 'extend' as long from the tuner bass plate. Hope that makes sense. They fit standard Fender holes, and when installed they do a full turn and don't hit the headstock, but I just prefer the look of a longer 'stem'. Comes with the bushings but NOT the tuner screws (they're like £2.50 from allparts) I paid £27 shipped for these on the bay, I'll let them go for £20 shipped on here, cheque would be cool thanks. Heres a quick photo. Thanks all

That looks excellent! Congrats. I just sold a Gibson G-3 and looking at this again is making me question my motives! Great work buddy, I love a good restoration job!
I just used a hand drill, but it has a spirit level/laser built in. But to be honest the screws arent that long, so eye-straight should be alright. Just hold the screw against the drill bit and use masking tape to mark off the depth (sorry if you already know this)
Very helpful Warpig and Protium, many thanks

What did you use to drill? I'm thinking as I need to drill 13 holes and no more in the near future, I might just pick up a hand drill or one of them fake dremel's.

Hi all, I'm going to be drilling some holes in a new Warmoth neck shortly for the tuners and string tree. Anyone have any tips/advice on how to do it cleanly and so the tuners are all aligned prefectly? I'm thinking using masking tape before I drill will help protect the finish, but any other advice? Thanks!

I had umph's SC120 before him, and it was GreeneKing's before mine. I paid 200 so just sold it for what I paid. Don't mean to question this sale, but whereabouts does it say it's bass specific? Mine was just like the one for sale but was just a regular one I think. Another one went on here for £300 last month which looked just like mine, but was called a 120B too. Again, not trying to question this amp, just curious!

I quite fancy trying one out, but can't find anywhere that stocks them or anyone selling one on. I tried a GK 700RB last month and it sounded nice, but no 800's. What gives, Basschat?

Maybe I had a dud, but I had a MIM jazz many moons ago and the bridge was god awful. Put a badass on and it improved it no end. I only went for the badass as I wasn't aware of the Gotoh at the time.

I'd probably take a Gotoh. Cheaper, looks more like the original (if that's your thing), does just as good a job.

Hey all, due to needing some pennies, and this being my latest GAS toy, it's the first to go. Got this from Peter (Greeneking) about 3 or so weeks back. Here's the original thread... http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=...p;hl=sound+city Surprisingly light (well, I think so anyways) for a valve amp, and the two handles on the side make it great for carrying. Trying it out is very welcome (I live in Lancaster), but I have no cab so you'll need to bring your own if you want to. Looking for £200, just to get my money back really. The hum that Peter speaks of in the original thread is definately noticeable when the amps ticking over, but I never noticed it when actually playing. Collection would be ideal as I can see this being a PITA to ship, but I can look into it if necessary. I'll get some more pics up if needed, but hope Peter doesn't mind me using the one on the first thread! Cheers guys and gals

I used to have one similar. It's the predecessor to the VT2 EQ I believe. Just the same but without an EQ! Sounds cracking though still! I'm sure Dave will add more info

Yes, a Gibson I've got an '85 Gibson G3, which is probably considered the most 'fender' sounding. The grabber also has a grindy cool rock tone. And the ripper is just lovely! Can you tell I like them?
-
I had one a few years back. Very maybe, but it would have to be small. I think theres about 2 inches clearance at the tallest part, but remember the slope of the board starts to decrease that. Maybe something like a small boost would fit? Would it not be easier with a PT2 due to being able to get pedals in closer together with the wire routing etc? Does that even make sense? I can't type lately
