When i'm gigging I need a board way more than I need an extra bass!
ZING!
3. I just built a Muff from www.generalguitargadgets.com Bit cheaper then BYOC, and works great. I had/have no experince of making pedals either, but I just took ym time and worked first time! Guess I was lucky, but it's good fun messing around and having something cool sounding at the end. Good luck in your quest young padawan. I got most of my equipment off ebay for like £2-3 i .e pliers, solder sucker etc
4. pablo - so did you just sand the box then 3 coats of colour? I was looking at dsanding, primer, colour, clear, but it all seems such a ballache to me. Plus I'm not after a really pro job. Not to say yours doesn't look pro!! it looks sweet
5. Hello friends, today I finished a General Guitar Gadgets Big Muff. I went with the Green Sovtek version as I had an original last year, but had to sell it. Needless to say, this sounds awesome, still got that great grunting muff tone I love! No clips before anyone asks Was a pretty easy build, but took me a while due to it being ym first one. It's 'natural' not, but I may paint it a nice pastel green next month. Enjoy... It all goes through this setup, got that orange combo last week too, sounds amazing for the size. W00t¬! P.S Special thanks to Bremen who helped me source some missing caps! I owe you a beer!
6. I'll have a bash! I need a little prac amp! Whereabouts are you in the NW?

I'd defo be interested in an EQ and headphone amp
9. When I got a green muff from america, i owed £24 in charges and the guy just wrote on the box 'don't worry about it'. Got a letter a few days later saying i owed them, but ignored it! nada problemo! enjoy your pedals, that filter looks great
10. spog, why are you bumping every ashdown thread from like last year?
11. I'll answer this cos I used to have one, you can only play one bass through it. There's the solid state preamp, tube preamp, and then you can select both at the same time. I liked both when I had mine
12. David Hungate - from the band 'Toto'
13. How awesome is this bassline?? I ask you!? I can't stop playing it, pretty easy to play, fun song, good times! It's really rekindled my love of bass lines as opposed to GASsing over awesome fuzzes and synths! I think this and 'I want you back' by the jacksons are my favourite bass lines to play. Anyone for anymore?
14.
Save for holiday or Grabber? Decisions. Have a bump.
Don't ask silly questions mate

18.
I am thinking of removing the pickguard on my Urge MX Bass , however there is a little bit of gap in the bottom of the neck join (see picture) , will it be ok to remove the pickguard , I dont want anything bad happening to my neck due to moisture getting in the gap , however it is not unusual to have a gap in the bass or treble side of a neck pocket so I do not think this will be a problem , what do you think?
I think you'll be ok
19. Give me half an hour and I'll gte some pics up. First one to PM me can have it
20. I have a good condition Tortoisesheel Precision pickguard. Says Made in Japan on the back. I used to have a US Precision, and I honestly can't remember if it fit perfectly, I'm very picky about my tort, so only put it on when I first got it which was years ago. Has 13 holes, I'll try and get pics up tomorrow, but just a heads up for everyone. Looking for £18 posted Merci
