2. Afraid so
3. Hah, yeah...you couldn't really be any further away. I'm sometimes down at the in-laws in Stoke if that's any help to anyone, but won't have a cab to play through there.
4. Thanks buddy - nice set up you have too!
5. Cheers Bart Bump!
6. Hi folks, I'm hardly gigging these days, and it seems a waste to have such a powerful and great amp, that shines at full pelt, just sat in my room. I got this in Feb 2010 second hand from a lovely lady in Manchester and she had had it new since 2005. I'm sure most people know the score with these amps...great tone, looks and punch. Only ever had one issue with it, when a resistor blew last year. Fixed by Orange and no problems whatsoever since. The previous owner had never had any issues with it either. Before everyone asks, I'm not sure when the last re-valve was. Weight is nicely manageable for a valve amp. There's a few nicks on the tolex, but nothing major and the faceplate is fine. Looking for [s]£750[/s] £700 and it can be picked up from Lancaster. I'm happy to drive an hour or so to drop it off for people, but a bit of petrol money would be nice. NOW SOLD. I'd rather not ship either in the UK or abroad due to weight and possible breakage. Cheers for looking. Here's a few general pics, but if anyone wants anything in particular then just let me know.
7. Had a delivery from Warmoth today...nom nom nom... Just the neck to go now, then the fun begins...
8. Hah, I'm ok thanks, but cheers.
9. Memories! This was my first giggable amp way back when. Has a lovely round tone and gets loud for 'only' 120 watts. Good luck with the sale.
10. As in another £300 more?
11. It was 200 until the last minute. I was tempted to have a go, but I really don't need it. Only really see about 1 per year with the 240V
12. This was a bargain! I'm sure the last 800rb went on ebay for about £4-500?
13. Wayne - I'm off to B&Q this afternoon for my chisel and saw. Haha, not really. You may be able to see the body is very slightly dinged and bashed, so I'm just going to leave it at that and beat the crap out of it on stage when it's done. Just had email from Warmoth - the squared fretboard end and a jet black ebony board is adding on another $110. My poor, poor credit card.
14. I think the story goes that Matamp made all the Oranges back in the day. There was some kind of fallout and they went their separate ways. Good luck finding an OR200. They're pretty rare now - I always remember that Jimmy Pages OR200 sold on ebay for $30,000. So...yeah!!
15. That's an 0R200. Late 60's/early 70's 200 watts of Matamp power. Basically on old GT200.
16. Hi folks, Thought I'd let you know about a build I've started - a replica of Matt Sharp's black jazz bass he used in his time with early Weezer and the Rentals. The bass is made up of a knackered old 70's body, some Schecter Monstertone pickups and a Birdseye Maple/Ebony Warmoth Tele Bass neck. Karl Koch (Weezer's webmaster and general fifth member) got in touch with Matt for me and passed on the specifics for the build, so I'm really grateful for that. Here's the bass as it is now. I'm not one for relicing basses, so I needed a black Jazz body with 70's spacing. A used Geddy Lee bass with a few scratches and dings showed up on Ebay so I got that a few weeks back. The pickups were the hardest thing to source. They're discontinued now and only available on Schecter custom shop basses (which retail about $3000). Anyways, I found a guy who bought a bass in 1996, didn't like the pickups and swapped them. Turns out he had kept the Schecter pickups for the next 14 years and happily sold them to me when I asked. I put the order in with Warmoth last week for the neck so that should be here in about 12 weeks maximum. I love waiting, don't you?! Got a couple of other bits on the way from Warmoth; a tortoiseshell pickguard, Schaller BML tuners so they should be here hopefully very soon. I'll update this when they get here. Got a Schaller roller bridge in the mail today from Thomann in Germany to complete it all. I've assembled a bass before, but I think I'll take this to a pro to do a great job and get it setup just right. Finally, here's a couple of pics of what I have now. Cheers for looking.
17. I bought a body off this seller last week. Communication wasn't the best, but the item was fine and as described. Just an FYI.
18. Bump Black Pickguard is still available...I've realised it's for a 75 reissue and NOT a Geddy now. If you want to put this on a Geddy you will need to drill new holes! White one is still for a Geddy though Bump!!
19. Badass, control plate, black pickguard and pickups gone...just the white guard left folks!
20. Afraid not Wayne. I only got it as a loaded body, no idea what became of the neck.
21. Aye, go on then. PM me where it's going and how you want to pay.
22. Hi all, Got a loaded Geddy body recently and I only need the actual body, so selling everything I don't require. First up, Badass II Bridge in chrome. Everyone knows what these are. Pretty good condition, saddle screws are a bit rusty, but move ok. Comes with 5 bridge screws, but no allen key I'm afraid. Looking for £50 plus postage - SOLD PENDING Next, set of Geddy pickups. Slight rusting on the pole pieces, but nothing major. Mounting foam under each one which seems to be stuick to the pickups? Not sure if they come like this, but I assume they can be prized off if needed. Not sure how much these go for..let's say £30 plus postage? - SOLD PENDING Next, a jazz control plate. Comes loaded with pots, cap, wire and knobs. My soldering iron is at my dad's house, so the pickup wires have been snipped. They will drop off easily with the touch of an iron. £15 plus postage - SOLD Finally, a couple of Geddy pickguards, one black and one white. The black one has a few extra holes in..you can see where in the pictures. £7 each plus postage or both for £10 and postage. BLACK ONE SOLD PENDING Everything comes with the necessary screws where applicable, and of course, I'm happy to combine shipping and such if you want more than one item. Payment by bank transfer is cool or cheque. I'd rather avoid Paypal, but if needs must, that'll do. Cheers for looking.
23. Thanks for the reply dr1. Didn't know about that. I live and learn.
