1.
It always makes me laugh, especially on some of the more fruity US forums when people talk with reverence about the "Matamp Factory" like it's a scared, holy place, bathed in clean white light where tonez are made. I wonder if they could see that it's a run-down shed, up a little lane, behind a Tesco, that's completely disorganised with fag ends everywhere, that reeks of smoke with projects that started between yesterday and 40 years ago littered around if they would have the same reverence? I'm not knocking Matamp's product at all but they are very much a case of the British Inventor's Shed, not Googleplex.
Hah, too true Joe. When I first went, the 'Green' sign outside was all smashed and I just walked in to a room full of fag ends and amazing gear. There wasn't even anyone in there, I just walked around for 5 mins looking at everything. Then Geoff came out and said 'c**t' a lot whilst slagging off every other amp maker. I loved it!
2. Having second thoughts on this. Every time I crank it, I realise why I like it so much, so I'm going to withdraw it for now. Cheers all.
3. bump - could go to 700 if that sweetens the deal for anyone?
4. Cheers Chris And Bump!
5. Hey Nath, how are tricks? As I say, gigs have dried up and running this thing at '1' on the master makes it a pretty expensive practice amp. I'm keeping the Matamp cab and I'll probably just pick up something more suited for what I need. Saying that, not had much interest at all, so she might be staying at Chez Chris. How's the Sunn treating you?
6. Bloody hell, that's dear. I shipped a green muff to Finland via Royal Mail for about £12-13 - I think they have a service called AirSure or something. I've never had a problem with it. Got there in a couple of days.
7. Cheers Guybrush, If this is still here after the weekend, I might just keep it...so....Bump!
8. Bigger testicles, but yeah, you're pretty much there.
9. According to Orange, it's 55lbs for the AD200. Maybe I'm stronger than I thought
10. How heavy is your Ampeg, Wayne? I can carry the Orange with one hand if I need to, but with two hands it's pretty easy.....and I'm weak & skinny
11. nearly pay-day bump!
12.
Try Johnny Shredfreak. They're only a couple of quid there and they're BRILLIANT quality.
Fixed

14. bizzump
15. Afraid so
16. Hah, yeah...you couldn't really be any further away. I'm sometimes down at the in-laws in Stoke if that's any help to anyone, but won't have a cab to play through there.
17. Thanks buddy - nice set up you have too!
18. Cheers Bart Bump!
19. Hi folks, I'm hardly gigging these days, and it seems a waste to have such a powerful and great amp, that shines at full pelt, just sat in my room. I got this in Feb 2010 second hand from a lovely lady in Manchester and she had had it new since 2005. I'm sure most people know the score with these amps...great tone, looks and punch. Only ever had one issue with it, when a resistor blew last year. Fixed by Orange and no problems whatsoever since. The previous owner had never had any issues with it either. Before everyone asks, I'm not sure when the last re-valve was. Weight is nicely manageable for a valve amp. There's a few nicks on the tolex, but nothing major and the faceplate is fine. Looking for [s]£750[/s] £700 and it can be picked up from Lancaster. I'm happy to drive an hour or so to drop it off for people, but a bit of petrol money would be nice. NOW SOLD. I'd rather not ship either in the UK or abroad due to weight and possible breakage. Cheers for looking. Here's a few general pics, but if anyone wants anything in particular then just let me know.
20. Had a delivery from Warmoth today...nom nom nom... Just the neck to go now, then the fun begins...
21. Hah, I'm ok thanks, but cheers.
22. Memories! This was my first giggable amp way back when. Has a lovely round tone and gets loud for 'only' 120 watts. Good luck with the sale.
23. As in another £300 more?
24. It was 200 until the last minute. I was tempted to have a go, but I really don't need it. Only really see about 1 per year with the 240V
25. This was a bargain! I'm sure the last 800rb went on ebay for about £4-500?
