1. Surf Green is, IMO, the best of the 50's and 60's Fender colours. I'd love to make a Jazz in Surf Green with no pickguard, just a '62 control plate.
2. Gone... I'm going to be expecting a delivery in the next few days... Road Tax is due
3. Horses for courses and all that. I'd much rather have one of these than one of the first Precisions. In fact, if I had an original P-bass, I'd probably sell it and buy 10 of these
4. Thanks all. She plays a treat, and looks cracking too. Si - hope you're still enjoying the Orange. I've been hankering for another one but I always consider getting another when I have zero money!
5. Now the real question is... if you had a spare 2.5k lying around, would you get this, or get a Matamp GT200 and spend the rest on other fun items?
6. Holy freaking cow! 7. I keep coming into this thread just to look at the GT200. I'd love one, but can't bloomin' afford at the moment! It looks an absolute cracker, and after playing through one at the factory, I know one day I'll pick one up. Tone to die for. Good luck with the sale!
8. I love watching build threads come through to the end. Looks a great build...enjoy it Chris.
9. Can you tell what the offers have been Cetera? It just tells me they've been declined. Up to 3 offers now, so someone must want it, but not at that price.
10. Not mine, and not too sure about the price, but I know folks want these as they don't come up too aften http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Gallien-Krueger-800RB-Bass-Head-Flight-Case-/160659584138?pt=UK_MusicalInstr_Amplifiers_RL&hash=item25680eb48a#ht_1036wt_1396

12. A quick Google suggests they were beginning to go by '79, and were pretty much phased out by '82 or '83.

The Jazz Porn thread about to drop off the first page??? Not on my watch....
14. Hi all, I thought I'd write a quick note about Couch Guitar Straps over in good ol' California. I was looking for a new strap and came across these, and liked their designs and the fact they recycle and use a lot of NOS stuff. They're also vegan which may be of importance to some. I received the strap this week and it's great quality, a little pricey at £27 including shipping, but it feels great and looks quality too. So there, just as quick heads up in case anyone is looking to change straps. www.couchguitarstraps.com
15. Yes, I have shrunk actually, and I'm very sensitive about it! Haha, good spot my friend...let's say I'm 6'3 and half! Just the pickguards left now chums
16. Hi Peter, It looks like this strap is now sold unfortunately, but the shortest it can do is 52 inches - hole to hole. I seem to recall buying the longest version when I got it, as I'm 6'3" and like it low...a long, good strap is hard to find!! Cheers

18. Great job - I love restorations like this. Looks great.
19. Bump for last few bits! Offers are welcomed!
20. Levy's is gone Harvest back up for sale!
21. Haha, yes I do understand! When it's adjusted to its longest, it's 77 inches from hole to hole (now there's a phrase)...I'm 6 ft 4, and it's always been plenty long for me, even slung down low. Hope that's of some help. Cheers
22. Looks like Cubase and the Harvest strap are gone pending payment...thanks so far!
