I notice it's pickup only from [b]northampron[/b]. Not being able to spell where you live is not that inspiring Not bad a bass for £40 though

[/quote] There is a thread around here somewhere that has someone quoting the RV4 has no sustain. That's a £245 bass. It's not the cost it's the setup (IIRC) that affects the sustain.

Anything more than 4 is 'extended range' as the bass is a 4 stringed instrument. If you play a 5er or more it gives you an extended range (hence the name!). That's Mustang Sally for me then

A very nice collection. I like the look of the Ibanez. It does look a little heavy though, as you say. The VM's are both sweet too. I'm not partial to the Fleabass myself but hear thay are good basses. You should have many happy hours playing them

Welcome to the forum I too have an Orange Crush 50. I gig it and use the DI to a PA if the gig requires more umph! Nice basses (you just need to post some pictures!)

Thanks for your input [/quote] Probably not tbh But, it is light and it does have the tonal range. The Beatles kind of ruined it as a great lightweight bass that is fun to play. It's short scale too which all helps with the weight. I've played some Pink Floyd on it and got comments at the end along the lines of: What the heck do you think you're doing playing the Floyd on that piece of rubbish So what, I say!
