1. Well used, well loved, and well toured Eden WTX 500. This amp toured with me mounted on my pedal board. Dont really use it anymore as I have moved to a combo stack rather than running through this. This is an absolute animal of clean tone. Link to Eden's webpage for it: http://www.eden-elec...div/wtx500.aspx There is some obvious cosmetic wear and tear on it, but thats as far as it goes. All electronically and mechanically sound. The damages are as follows: - Scratches on the Bass control, Mid control and Master volume control. - Scratches and a small sharpie mark on the front panel by the input. - Scratches to the bottom of the amp, one of the rubber feet cut. Still sits perfect though. - Very light scratches on the back panel. 230 of your finest British pounds, ono. For trade/part exchange either way I'm interested in P basses, any of the Squier Classic vibes basses, or A loop station. I'm based in Portsmouth. Anyone interested in more than welcome to come down and try, though I would be ok with shipping the head once the money has clear. Paypal or cash on collection is fine with me. Send me a message if you have any questions or offers! Cheers
2.
I saw the single pup model in GAK this weekend. It looked OK, but meh, didn't try it. Looked like a bit of a toy. Had a bang on a £2.6K Gretsch instead
I went in there this weekend and tried it out. It wasn't brilliant, thought the string they had on it were pretty much dead. tried the Squier Classic Vibes single coil one and was extremely impressed. A/B-ed it against a Mex 50's reissue P bass and it actually sounded better. I'm definitely thinking about picking that up.
3. Thanks man! Had a look at their website, looks like a awesome bunch of guys there, amazing work. Shall be calling tomorrow.
4. I'm looking for someone to cut me a custom gold anodized pickguard. I have a Stingray 4 with double humbuckers, and I love the pickguard for the 5 string version, but I dont like playing 5 strings. Does anyone out there know of a pickguard maker who can cut me a 5 string Stingray pickguard but for a 4 string made in gold anodized stuff?

10.
I never knew they were Ampeg drivers.... explains a lot > Don't suppose you fancy running two
Wish I had a more powerful amp to run, and played gigs where i could justify bringing another one! Sorry buddy!
11.
The only issue is access to your amp controls I suppose....
I dont seem to get any trouble with this. If you design the board before hand to allow for space to get to the controls, things should be fine!
12. One can only hope! I had one of those Squier Vintage Modified Telecaster basses once (similar pickup position to the Sandberg) and that did throw out some thump! My front pickup on my Stringray HH doesn't throw out as much bass, but that is probably due to the pickup being an inch or so back from that position.
13. Hey guys Just wanted to throw an idea at you. With all of these mid powered micro amps out right now (Eden WTX's, Markbass LittleMark, etc etc), has anyone had the idea to mount the amp onto a pedalboard? This is what I'm doing at the moment, and I see a couple benefits of it. - With all your pedals and cables in box/board, its easy to keep track of your gear, and easier to move. - If you run and effects loop with your amp like I do, there can be a ton less cables running around the stage as the amp is litterally 2 inches away from the pedals. - Less signal loss from not having miles of cables - If you use a wireless with your set up, You can have only one cable running across the stage, which would be a speaker cable. - Changing setting on the amp mid song if needed can be as simple and quick as changing a setting on a pedal. The only con I can think of is that if the amp has a DI out on it, and is being used as the primary DI for the night for bass, It wont be where the soundman expects it, but this can be easily remedied with a extra XLR cable. I'd like to know your thoughts on this, Does anyone else do this or have thought about doing it with your microamp? Have you encountered any problems? I would take a picture of my set up, but I am part way through changing it. Hopefully can post a picture of it when its all done!
14. I'll chime in here and say these cabs are amazing! Definitely the best sounding Ashdown cabs out there (mostly down to them buying the speakers from Ampeg....) Good luck with the sale!
15. Pretty amazing job you've done on this bass man! Sexy Hope the someone who buys it really appreciates it. I'm envious of them. sidenote: can you wait until the end of the month until I get paid?
16.
Buy it! And let us know what it's like!
I am really thinking about it! But I'm not likely to drop 700ish quid on a bass i've never heard before.
17. Like a mix between a 72 P Bass and a Stingray I'd say.
18. Hey guys, I'm a little confused about something I saw on Thomman earlier today. Was just having a quick gander at some Sandberg basses and I came across this: http://www.thomann.de/gb/sandberg_seventy_two_rd.htm Its a pretty bass IMO, so I tried to find out more about it. Surprisingly, its not mentioned at all on the Sandberg website, or featured in their 2012 catalogue. Skimming through the picture and videos of the most recent MusikMesse, there was no sight of it at their booth at all. The only place that seems to mention it is the Thomman website. Has anyone heard of it/know more about this bass, and if possible direct me to some sound samples of it? I might just be a very poor researcher! Cheers guys
19. Sorry guys Sold Pending as of right now!
