1. Hello! As I need a little bit more holiday money for me and the missus jet off to the Hamster's Jam, I've got a VT Bass up for grabs here. All working, tested it this morning. Brilliant pedal but I just dont use it anymore. Has a few scratches on the dials as shown in the picture, otherwise in pretty good cosmetic condition, and perfect in tonal condition! Got it from another Basschatter (for the life of me I cant remember who). For those who like a organised pedal board there already velcro attached to the bottom of the pedal. 85 Pounds shipped, or part exchange for a decent tuner with cash if it is worth less.

7.
I'd get one if I had a roadie to move the fecker for me, for sound and looks. I remember once asking the guy in Mansons why the brand new looking cab next to me had a S/H tag, mistake etc? Nope, but the bloke who bought it couldn't fit it through his front door :-s
Well I suppose goes to show impractical they are!
8. Hello all! I've put the ads up on gumtree to save uploading pictures and stuff here (I know the mods were going about it) So here are the links Tele: http://www.gumtree.com/p/for-sale/squier-c...caster/86720826 Marshall Head plus cab: http://www.gumtree.com/p/for-sale/marshall...ed-cab/86734578 Marshall cab: http://www.gumtree.com/p/for-sale/marshall...12-cab/86734744

10. Thanks for all the responses guys, very informative as always. But would you consider it value for money to get one as some are going for the same/cheaper than 210s! And once they are on castors, can one person manage one?
11. So whilst looking on a infamous bidding website, I've found several absolute bargains on 810s and 610s at the moment. Its quite funny seeing as they are the most expensive to buy out of any cabs, yet at the moment have no resale value what so ever. Why do you guys think this is? And on a sidenote, (this my seem like a silly question) But how practical are 810/610s to move and live with? I've never actually gig/seen/moved one before. Are all the horror stories true and is this why they have no resale value?
12. What things should you keep in mind when looking for replacement speakers for bass cabs? I'm looking into upgrading a 210 cab from 200 watts @ 8 ohms to 600 Watts @ 4 Ohms
13. I totally agree. If it wasn't for all the small gigs, i'd go completely di. What do you think is a good standard of rig to cover both? I think 210 is to small for the bigger gigs, 610 might be to cumbersome and larger for the smaller pub gigs. 410 is goldielocks :-)
14. Do you have any pictures of the cab? Are you willing to ship/deliver?
15. Ok. After spending the afternoon researching and using winisd I am utterly confused. So I've decided to ask for help! What I want to do is this: I have just got 2 old 15 inch Class D subs off a friend. I want to turn them into bass cabs. My plan is to remove the 15 inch speakers, baffle, and port, and add either 4 isobaricly mounted 10 inch speakers or regularly mounted 2 10s. They will fit in the front area of the new baffle (after removing the old ones and the port and adding new bass reflex tubes) I plan to use the Eminence Basslites Ca2010 for the speakers. Now I've been trying to interoperate the plots winisd, but I have no idea what is good or bad in the plots, or if the cabs are suitable for the job. If someone could help me figure if this is a good build idea that would greatly appreciated. The inside cabinet dimensions (after removal of all the old hardware) are: L- 44.1325cm W- 44.7675 cm H-51.75cm If anyone is interested my ultimate goal is to have 2 compact isobaric 410s that are in tweed with similar styling to a original Fender Bassman.
16. Thanks for the brilliant advice guys, I'll be posting a build when the project goes ahead. I'll keep at few orages at hand as well Ou7shined. I also found a brilliant guide linked here: Recovering shows a lot of the main techniques (at least I gather!)
17. So I just took the plunge and bought this amp sight unseen from Thomman at a very reasonably price of 370 pounds (shipping included ) Are there any old or current users of this head out there, and what can I expect from it?
18.
got a eden WT800A and trying to get my head round ohms etc. kinda got the idea (?) but wanted a simple answer to this wee question before i potentially melt it. can i plug the head into a trace elliot 1028H. it says 8 ohms on the cab so presume that its possible? thanks in advance p
According to this: Eden Forum page on Wt800a You can! Hope this helps.
19. Has anyone come across any good guides for recovering cab?
20. I just got an ashdown 115 evo II off ebay for a fair price, definately not wooly, used to only play ashdown amps, but sadly this ones vavle drive doesn't work as well as the back lighton the vu. Getting a refund and switching to Eden, definately a lot more clear then the asdown.
