1. Careful, you only bumped it yesterday!!
2. Just gonna bump this. Come along to here the first ever medley featuring We Will Rock You, Smoke on the Water and Rappers Delight!!
3. I quite like it! Its based on the Fender Strat that Eric Clapton used on the George Harrison tribute concert. Although I dont agree it should be done on a 40 year old peice of history, but maybe on a newer less nostalgic model.
4.
I love the playability and the sounds of a Stingray, but unfortunately for me I only like those sounds when someone else is making them, they just don`t sound "me". But really great basses, and far more versatile than given credit for. Most think of Flea type sounds, whereas there is always Bernard Edwards to consider.
Agree. I always fancied a Stingray, and a few years ago I got one. Played it with my band but the sound didnt suit it. I gave it a few more outings before I moved it on and went back to my trusty Fender Precision.
5.
One from the archives here, 1987 I think. A fresh faced 21 year old at the old Red Lion in Brentford. I think its a 1983 JV P bass I had it reprayed from Fiesta Red to CAR By Dave Simms in Ealing, and fitted a black pguard.
And fast forward 25 years. A little older, A little wider but no wiser.

9. How much do these retail for? I,m just down the road from Northolt and may put a bid on it (Unless someone tells them the real value of it)
10. Hmmm, I have reason to believe that you are not a real bear! But if you are can you give Winnie the pooh my regards?
11. Paul has been really adamant there will be NO Jam reuinion. I thought that time would heal any old wounds but Buckler still is rather miffed at him to put it mildly!
12. Times Like These. Theres a little bass fill on the original version but I,m to much of a coward to do it! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t932MnacxTs
13. Thats bloody good bass! Much better than I could do!!
14. The Beatles Let It Be single version was mixed by George Martin while the album version was done by Phil spector. Spectors version featured a different guitar solo by George Harrison, a brass section and was nearly a minute longer, although they both derive from the same 8 track tape, spector mixed them higher and edited a repeat chorus to extend the running time.
15. From the long defunct Tube telly show on channel 4. The Jam covering Curtis Mayfield's Move On Up. I dont think they ever recorded it. Note Foxton on an Aria Pro II bass
16. If it aint broke, dont fix it!
17. Have you tried a heavier gauge of strings? The very light gauges can be very clickity clackity when hit hard.
18. From the same gig as above. Playing my bitsa P bass with chrome covers. Sorry about the quality, Iphone footage, I wasnt aware that it was being filmed. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ryluWVtEJg8

20.
I thought 3/3 was waltz time. See, I never said I know my time signatures.
3/4 is waltz time. One 23, Two 23 etc.
21. Good Morning Good Morning on The Beatles Sgt Pepper album has 5/4 and 4/4 in the verses. I had never noticed that until I sat down and counted along to the song. Lennon had a knack of odd time signatures.
22. Major, minor, pentatonic and blues scales is all I know. It got me through 30 years of playing. I cant be doing with them mixolydianphrygian malarkys!
23. If someone buys it and syncs it to itunes the very rare game will be lost!!

Mirror shatters in formless reflections of matter. ..?
The Grateful Dead - Dark Star. ------------ It doesn't really matter what chords I play What words I say or time of day it is
