3. check my sig, thats pretty much it, just 3 measly pedals! meh, im so happy with my status/stingray at the moment i dont need effects

5. im pretty much certain the next high end bass il be buying will be a headless status graphite thru, they seem to look and sound gorgeous, S2's especially gotta start saving for those blue side led's for my 'ray first though!
6.
A dirty black one. Wish I still had that amp...
i love the black 'ray's, classic
7. i think we should have a poll, which musicman is the BEST Stingray Sterling Bongo stingray stingray stingray for me, pity the bongo looks so hideous, coz it does sound pretty awesome
8. i can't afford one
9. i wish they would do a HH option with the humbuckers next to each other warwick $$ styley, i could never deal with a bass with a pickup so close to the neck, but i bet it sounds great, nice bas
10. seems nice, definatly agree with the fretboard how do these compare with the US made ones?
11. i miss all my colourful pedals, but tbh i just dont use effects anymore, just add a bit of light grit with my DHA, and some heavier overdrive with my odb-3, n thats about it. i only really use the zoom as a tuner and a limiter.
12. have you asked if he can drill the holes for you and just send you the neck? thats the hardest part, fitting the neck to the body n stringing up n that is simple, and i imagine would save you quite a bit (doesnt rob charge £100 for fitting it?)
13. how the f*** is alan gunna get in his house now then!
14. sadly, that furry black n white one is mine....
15. just a quick low light one of my two basses together, the OLP has the old wooden blue dawn 5 neck on

20.
Interesting to read all your comments on it. I am sure the neck sounds fantastic on the musicman, I agree that the difference is quite pronounced. I must agree with the comment on the olp/status although that bass really came into it's own in a band situation, something about the sound just cut through the mix like a knife Are you in a band yourself? If so it will be interesting to see how you find your first practice with it. Well spotted about the harmonics too, the olp/status was fantastic for any bits of jaco, I have to work so much harder to get them to ring out on my jazz.
nah not in a band at the mo and dont think i will be this year either, my uni course is going to be VERY demanding this year, and i wont have time for much else really. its probably because of my natural dislike of passive basses that makes me not like the olp's sound tbh. but i still cant get enough of the status blue'ray (im trying out different names, its a bit long winded saying the whole title!), id love to have a jam and see how well it performs there, every note is crystal clear, i can imagine it slices through the mix like a hot knife through butter
21. it could well be, but you'd really be prepared to pay that for a guitar pedal?
22. Kev
