Moog Sub 37 Synth now traded thanks
ash replied to ash's topic in Accessories & Other Musically Related Items For Sale
Yes it’s superb I know but Im not using many of the featuresI just use the core Moog lead or bass sounds. It’s a great synth but I prefer a simpler layout as it will primarily be used for live work. I’m going to sell it and go back to a Moog LP or Sub, if anyone wants to do a trade deal on one of these or a vintage Rogue let me know. No other trades though. The trade being cash to me plus an LP or Sub not a straight swap as that would be a bit daft 😉 -

Here’s a nice Fender American Special Jazz neck fitted with original tuners and hardware. It’s straight with minimal fret wear. I bought it to try on a Precision Bass with a defunct neck but I’ve now managed to get a Precision neck which I prefer. The neck dates from 2010 and had previously been in storage when I got it. Postage will be £10 in the UK only. Sorry no trades. Now needed for another project so withdrawn.

Fullerton vintage reissue 62 Precision ???
ash replied to Creeper's topic in eBay - Weird and Wonderful
Yes I asked about that as the scratch plate has an extra hole - that has no screw in position - the plate is just like my 70’s P Bass. He said it had been like that since he bought it. -
Danelectro Reel Echo in excellent condition with box. This is a great unit for slap back echos and great emulations of classic tape echo units of the 50s and 60s. It’s got a wide range of sounds and effects and sounds great on guitar, bass and vocals. I used it to get a pretty authentic Jet Harris type sound. It also does sound on sound. I can post in the UK if necessary. UK sale only no trades.

I’ve just heard back from him and it’s pickup and cash only so I guess he must be legit. Someone should get a bargain here!

My latest bugbear with eBay is the utterly pointless ‘improvements’ to the home/watching page. I’ve always kept this on ‘ending soonest’ so that I can check the progress of auctions as they complete. eBay in their wisdom has now provided a filter that defaults to ‘most relevant’. However I feel that this choice is an irrelevant one - as obviously I wouldn’t be watching an item if it were not relevant to me. 😕 In fact eBay’s idea of ‘most relevant’ to me....seems to be a random order of the items I’m already watching!?! Doh!

So I bought this lovely MIJ ‘83/‘84 SQ series Squier Precision from here last week. It’s strung with roundwounds and plays like a dream with a low action and punchy sound. It’s all original with the exception of the pots/loom which is a KiOrgan replacement. The original pots are included. The bass weighs 4.1kgs and is very comfortable to play. These basses were produced for a period alongside the legendary JV series instruments - JV denotes Japanese Vintage SQ denotes Squier. The main difference is that the SQ series were less vintage accurate and hardware was similar to 70’s era Fenders. The build quality and finishing superior to many US Fenders of the same era hence these instruments being quite sought after. This one is no exception and sounds, looks and plays superbly. At the same time as I bought this I managed to bag another JV Precision on eBay with a maple neck so I’ve decided to move this on quickly before I bond with it too much! There are very few marks and a bit of paint rub/ wear on the edge. See pics. It is a beauty and I’m selling for what I paid for it - case included. UK only. I’d prefer pickup but will post at buyers expense. Under the pick guard pic C/O original owner Stinson. No trades sorry. http://www.21frets.com/squier_jv/thesqpage.htm
