8. No worries - if I can raise the cash by selling my overwater I'll be all over this!
 9. There's a Renaissance Live at Carnegie Hall cd with a long track on called 'Ashes Are Burning' featuring a Jon Camp bass solo. I remember preferring that to Squire's 'Fish' solo on Yessongs as it had so many different musical feels to it. You can certainly hear the Squire influence but Camp is a fine bassist and there are some wonderful moments where he harmonises the bass with Annie Haslam's voice. I'm not one for bass solos but it is worth checking out.
 10. You wouldn't be interested in a trade for my Overwater Aspiration Elite plus cash your way would you?
I can't believe this hasn't gone yet. This is less than I paid for both of mine and it comes with a cover! These sound great, are perfect for pubs and small venues and extremely versatile. Got a post-EQ DI out and a speaker out for an external 8ohm cab. Yeah, they're chunky, but it's still a one hand lift and ridiculously compact. Come on people! Alex
Thanks Alex - yes I think this is a very fair price for this quality of amp.
 14. Yes I got this version - much better than the original in format and contents. Real bargain!

 16. You'd be paying over the odds at £1100, some colours are more desirable than others, its not a common colour but I don't think it's 'custom shop'. It also comes from a notoriously poor period for Fender. The most valuable Mustangs are the very early ones with competition stripes and/or matching head stocks. There's a mint 70's one going for £850 at the moment and its not shifting. My early 70s one in original condition went for under £500. Today's market is incredibly unpredictable and being a shorter scale model it's not exactly 'A' list. Play it and enjoy it and hang on to it for another 20 years!

 18.
It's explained in the listing - they are 'low in price but they are definitely not cheap'. Even so, they are 'better than some strings that sell at three times the price', so you are effectively saving £215. not bad in my book.
