1. I ordered one of the GB 2x10 cabs after reading the referenced thread. I've hidden it away until Christmas, but its a decent size, not too heavey, and the corner handles are awesome! I have a 2ohm head, so I'll be running it with another 1x15 for bigger gigs, or just on its on for small gigs. Really looking forward to hearing it Christmas morning! They really seem to be excellent value for the money!
2. I think I'm about to order one of the Genz Benz 210's to go with my Marshall MB450 - I've had lots of problems with the Marshall MBC115 so I'm looking to upgrade! Whats the verdict?
3.

I'm really jealous - this was the exact rig I was about to buy when my car got wrote off =[
4.
My 76 Pbass.. mint! http://gdavidak.rajc...ision_Bass_1976
Yum yum yum!!! I love a bit of 70s Precision!
5. p.s. probably best to have a test run at home, rather than at a gig!
6. Hi there, As a sound engineer, I always use the AUX sends for the monitors, as opposed to the groups, which I normally use for grouping channels sent to the main mix. The monitor output on your desk (presumably the USB model) are for studio monitors, as opposed to stage monitors. Having a quick look at a pic of the desk on the net, I'd say your best bet is to use the Aux 1 output for monitors. All you then have to do is send whichever channels you want reverb on to the DFX channel, and turn the Aux1 knob on the DFX channel up as desired. this way the effected (wet) signal should appear in your monitors. Try that and see how you get on! Lorry
7. Just go careful with the Marshall MB series - some people have nothing but problems and others are okay. I had a lot of issues but I'm now happily running the 450H with the 1x15 cab!
8.
My pretty boring board...
Not boring at all - Got a decent range of sounds, a DI and a tuner, what more could you want! Plus it's nice and tidy
9. Great looking bit of kit - can't wait to see it modified! When I had an EB-3, I was looking at the Hipshot replacement bridge, but couldn't afford one!
10. Wow that looks fantastic! I've always had a soft spot for the EB Series basses. I actually quite like the look with the jazz pickup - not sure why!!
11.
latest move around
How are you finding the Neo Mistress, any good?
12. I've set up quite a few Yamaha RB270Js for friends, and I must say, they are very good basses! I borrowed one for a backup bass when I first started out in pub bands - never let me down!
13.

Great rig - makes me miss my old Epiphone EB-3!
14. I've amassed quite a few over the years, but I tend to stick with Dunlop Ultex .88 - I used to use .60 but broke them constantly! My favourite pick of all time ever was a black Ozark which was tear drop shaped - haven't been able to find another one since!
15.
its modern and re-covered to go allong with the bassman
Brilliant idea - Looks fantastic!
16. Is that a modern Marshall MBC cab that's been recovered? It looks amazing, i might have to 'borrow' your idea!
my preferred setup is:
17.
A few shots of my Squiers, and my little cute Vox and Gallien Krueger head
Nice family isteen! Especially loving the Squier TB - saw a guy using one at my local on saturday, it sounded fantastic! Its interesting to see the Vox amp - I have a 1970s Vox Escort (same sized amp) signed by the members of Queen. I really ought to get it valued! Cheers, Lorry
18. Yeah thats right I own a 44-02
19. Hi All, My girlfriend has a Peavey Milestone III bass - She's after a black pick guard for it. Does anyone know where I might be able to obtain one? I take it I would probably be looking at a custom option or respraying the existing one? I know it's a long shot, but worth a try! Cheers, Lorry

22. Hi all, Decided to 'get the basses out' for a quick session last weekend... And a group shot with my ex's Milestone III - she helped take the pics and lent me her decent camera! 23. It's interesting how some people's work fine, and others seem to always break down. I fixed mine this afternoon - installing a new tweeter seemed to solve whatever the problem was!
24. I've had really bad experiences with the MB series - all well documented on here. I've had an MB30 for years - brilliant amp and love it to death. However, when I upgraded to the MB4210, I had three amps fail on me within the space of a month. I then upgraded to the head and 1x15" cab, which also failed a week after purchase. This was about two years ago. Guess what happened last week? The tweeter in the 1x15" packed up. I spoke to Marshall and A new one should be arriving today. Don't get me wrong, I love the sound of the amps, but the quality control is terrible - I've had nothing but reliability issues, even though i've only used the amp about once or twice a month! =[
25. That sofa is awesome - i wish I had one in the studio where I work!
