Please note that there are overheads in putting on these events so if you can come, please do. Nobody involved in setting up the events makes any money, in fact when we put on the Herts Bashes I, personally, would be around £100 out of pocket after paying for raffle prizes, tea, coffee, etc. All your contributions go to the nominated charity. Attendees get a great day out, a chance to play gear that you won't get to see in any shop, attend interesting seminars and take part in gear tests. My favourite part: meeting up with old friends and putting faces to avatars - a chance to actually speak to those who we only know through the forum. Don't forget it's also possibly the only time in the year when it's OK to be a bass bore.
