  2. If you ever want to trade this for a kidney or liver let me know. Lots of students locally...I'm sure that I can bop one of them on the head.

  7. None of this feels familiar of any of the three that I have owned. Your issue sounds like an earthing problem to me but I am far from an expert. I'm sure that a more learned opinion can be found amongst the BC membership. Hope that the issue doesn't impact on your enjoyment of what, IMO, is a very versatile bass.
  8. Similar to the Sterling Mini
  9. 'Owzat??
  10. Member @dutchwife lives in Japan.... I'm sure he could be persuaded to pass things along for a small fee.
  11. Wow!! Love that fretboard.
  12. I'd insist on the couriers I hate most - let's see them lose or break this. Hopefully take a few backs out too.

  15. Isn't there a register somewhere to see whether somebody has any County Court Judgements against them? Who can access the register? The register can be accessed by anyone via the Registry Trust Limited website, where you can search for the details of other people or check your own record of CCJs. The type of people that might want to search the register include landlords, who want to check that a prospective tenant does not have a history of not paying back their debts. It could also be used in a business setting, if a company is hiring a new employee they might use the register for research or they might want to check out the financial record of a new supplier or customer. Conversely, if someone is offered a job at a new company, they might want to check if the firm is reputable by looking into any history of CCJs. You might also want to search the register to check your own details, either to verify that all information is correct or if you are planning on applying for credit. It can be useful to review any history that might worry potential lenders.
  16. Cantonese Boy - Japan
  17. If you're down in Brighton who better to have a look than Bernie Goodfellow. If he isn't (unbelievably) busy he may be able to have a look. Be careful you don't leave having ordered a new GB though. Easily done I would have thought.
  18. Sailing - Rod (I could have played for Scotland) Stewart.
  19. I'd be up for it. Speak to Colin ( @Hamster) to see what plans he has for the usual location.
  20. I'm happy to take anybody's Mark King Alembic, if they don't want it.
  21. Sail on - The Commodores
  22. Crocodile Rock - Elton John
  23. I have been playing my Sterling short scale for the past hour or so - well I say I did - it felt like it was playing itself!! Amazing little tone bomb - it has a 3 way selector - parallel/ single/ series - favouring the parallel currently. A bit more expensive that many of the short scales currently available but it feels well built. Lovely satin finish neck!! No hesitation recommending one.
  24. "You will not believe the quality on these instruments the level that these have jumped up from the first version of these basses!" I haven't heard a bad thing about the first run....."Dear Santa..."
