1. Quite a lot of wear and missing a couple of knobs, but £135 BIN? This might be a bargain. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/IBANEZ-SOUNDGEAR-BASS-GUITAR-/251786071743?pt=UK_Musical_Instruments_Guitars_CV&hash=item3a9f9e8ebf
2. Steinberger Spirit headless four-string, passive, 34" scale, in flameburst. Weight is 3.6kg (8lb). Comes with its original (basic) gigbag. Small enough to fit a guitar case. Near pristine - it has a couple of scratches which you have to look hard for (I've tried to photograph them but it's not easy) and some wear on one of the pups and the rear strap button. Pics: http://s1295.photobu...t?sort=3&page=1 Bought here a couple of years ago. Selling because I'm not using it and I could use the space and the cash. Trades considered; I like Peaveys £250 plus carriage.
3. £50 posted. One more for the clearout: Cheapo P-style bass for a project. Neck, body, and scratchplate only. Bought from eBay; probably a Hohner originally (thanks Tommorichards ). Body is ply; the mark on the lower horn has been removed. There are various small marks and scratches. Headstock has been hand-painted matt black, but has flaked where the string tree was added. The trussrod turns. The scratchplate is marked where someone has grunched up the control onto it - invisible from more than a couple of feet away. Weight is 2.9kg (6lb 6oz). Neck is 63.5mm at heel, 41mm at nut. Pics: http://s1295.photobu...e?sort=3&page=1 More if they are needed. £50 posted.
4. £20 posted. Cheapo P-style body for a project. Origin unknown - I think it may have been a KCC? Seems to be wood rather than ply. Lots of small scratches and marks, but nothing drastic. Weight 2.1kg (about 4lb 8oz in old money). Neck pocket is 65mm at heel, and 19mm deep. Pics: http://s1295.photobu.../?sort=3&page=1 Strap buttons included.
5. Currently not seeing much reason to play at all, never mind in a band.
6. I bought some of David's strings. This is the fourth time I've bought from him, and I would do so again without hesitation.
7. What's "light weight", and where are you based? Thanks
8.
Damn. Would have had this if it had been white. Never mind. GLWTS.
That makes two people who've said "not in this colour"... Cheers anyway
9. I'm selling this for a friend. This is an Ernie Ball MusicMan Stingray SLO Special. Four-string, 3EQ model. Black, BWB scratchplate, maple neck, chrome hardware, single pup. One owner from new, original hard case (but no key), registered with EB, excellent nick - one non-serious scratch (see the pics). Pics: http://s1295.photobu...n?sort=3&page=1 Apart from the slight scuff in one of the photos, I couldn't see any other marks or damage, so it's pretty close to pristine. The SLO Specials are reasonably rare; they were a production run in about 2009 that hasn't been repeated yet; so at the moment they are only available second-hand. SLO Specials have a thinner, more jazz-ish neck than the standard Stingray's thick neck, while retaining the famous Stingray tone. Collection preferred from near Dorchester, Dorset, or possibly from Bournemouth during weekdays. No trades, sorry. Payment by bank transfer preferred. Also advertised elsewhere.
10. Thanks I wish I'd saved the pic from the advert I posted way back when. Ah well. Was £140 a sensible price for it, if I may ask?
11. I've been in that hat shop... bought one, as well. It isn't red though.
12. Better looking than most Fender basses, IMO, but I bet it tended to neck-dive.
13. I guess moving the bridge might be the way to go?
14.
Status Hotwire flats 40s - 100s on my Ray (though it is a fretless). Plenty of zing and low - medium tension.
No Ray here, but I do like Status Hotwire flats.
15. Heavy metal is bad for you, folks. Proof right there...
16. No sillier than a flying V.

18. I remember seeing it on eBay and managing to restrain myself from buying it - but not from giggling a lot when I first saw it. Sadly, I still have no funds. Hey ho. Good luck with the sale
19. Nice one
20.
Dont know why these are so hard to sell? it took me ages to sell mine and they are pretty good basses
I don't like the headstock design on G+Ls... maybe I'm not the only one?
21. Pics please
22. Good for you I have two cajon kits sitting about somewhere...
23. What's the scale?
24.
Anyone seen this? http://femurdesign.com/theremin/
Superb! Thanks
25. Thanks guys. I'm not affording anything at the moment, though... Merry Xmas
